Quite, quite good. More to come too. Bakayoko loan fee, Barkley will leave too. Wouldn’t shock me to see RLC go on loan again as well. Plus the fee for Zouma’s sale. We will get close to coming out even on the Lukaku and Kounde deals.

Think Ruben will stay personally the only reason he wasn't in any of the match squads were due to health supposedly. Tuchel has said its up to Ruben this season to get into his plans

It's all in his hands it seems

I'm still not totally convinced though and he has been here a long time now. He shouldn't still be made of glass by now. If he can stay fit for a sustained period then he might be able to push his way in. Although again i am not too sure from body language that RLC is a push his way in kind of guy.

Watched a bit more of Kounde in Seville’s game yesterday. He played well. Solid touch, fast mover with the ball, stayed calm

Imagine he, Christensen, and Chalobah as our back 3 of the future. Salivating.

Breakthrough in Zouma to Weat ham:

I expect we will soon be meeting Sevillas price for Kounde. Personal terms a formality and he reportedly is very keen to join us and play for TT.

Chalobah and Kounde both play on the right. An ideal back three would include a left footer. Rudigier has his limitations but I hope we can extend him.

We just won the CL without a left footer. If that was actually a priority for Tuchel or the board, we’d be signing a left footed center half instead of Kounde.

I think personally that Rudi is fine as a LCB. It's his 3rd or 4th year playing there and he didn't have much of a problem playing there

Rudigier does great on the left, for a right footer. Just not clear that Chalobah or Kounde could do that job, maybe they can. So I hope we can hang on to Rudigier. Tony is big, tough and rough and occasionally stuffs up, but he provides the defensive aggression that the team needs, and he plays on the left.

If we pull this off you have to say hats off the Marina, great window.

Normally that journo is reliable but seems hard to believe Sevilla, who don't need to sell apparently, are dropping their price so.

latest from the oracle:

Chelsea have confirmed to Sevilla today afternoon they want to proceed with final official bid to complete Jules Koundé deal  #CFC Still waiting for Zouma agents-West Ham issues to be resolved to sign Koundé. Chelsea are still negotiating also with Atletico for Saúl on

I thought Seville were under no pressure to sell and holding out for the release clause, so be some amazing work Marina did if we manage to sign him for 50M. Dont know much about him, but if that's what Tuchel wants and the boss is backing him, must be good then. Be a shame to see Chalobah leave on loan that's the case, we maybe overloaded in that part of the field even playing back 3 every game

I see Kounde as Silva replacement. With that kind of money he needs to be a bit special. 50m Euros for a 22 CB is still a lot although it looks we are doing a bit of good business here.

As said before we are always looking to improve the squad. Keeping Zouma is not it and at this very moment promoting Chalobah isn't it either. Improving depth is one thing, improving quality is another. Kounde should improve the quality and our football.

I read somewhere (maybe here) we've been tracking Kounde for a good time. If so we really have a plan going forward. We need to do business where the manager is not that important as we always sack them.

What is Rudiger limitation?

I think he has been our best cb since we move to back 3.
