All too slow. This is the type of game we struggle in, creativity none existent. 

We need more decisiveness in the final third, especially from Mason. Every time Lukaku is in a good position and asks for the ball, the pass is too late.

But imo there is nothing to worry about. A goal will come soon and then it's game over.

Mount is at least pressing and winning the ball back at times, what is Ziyechs positives? 

Ziyech looks like he is going into the duels with a handbag, can't be asked to press, takes to long time on the ball and his passes/shots is hitting Zenit players.

Need more movement uptop. Ziyech,  Mount and Lukaku just waits for the ball most of the time. 

Zenit can't keep this up. The spaces are there and can be exploited

Mount and Ziyech devoid of any quality in that half. Ziyech not involved enough, Mount was involved, but very poor on the ball. 

This is the sort of game which I thought Hakimi would be perfect for, we dont have anyone beating their man in the wide areas, I think James attempted one dribble, he needs to be way more aggressive imo. Alondo diesnt have that in his locker. 

All very slow and safe, then when there is a chance its sloppy.

ps that Zenit corner is one of the worst ive ever seen.

It's far too pedestrian giving them lots of time to set up 2 banks of 5 which frustrates, Mason not having a goodun which just amplifies Zyech's lack of the basic attacking skills, I suppose James is playing cus he's banned on Sunday, him & Alonso plus the two up top supporting Big Rom need to get on it......

Just what I was thinking. But nothing beats Iago Aspas' corner in *that* game at Anfield.

Surprised on the comments here .. I think players who have anonymous have been .. alonso /ziyech and a very low block .. Jorginho can be quicker .. mount can be sharper with his passing and Lukaku can come deeper.

Sorry folks but Ziyech is not a player for chelsea.I have watched enough if him now to make a judgement.Put Werner on to try and stretch things, at least he has pace.

Hopeing  Werner for Ziyech swap at half time. Press them high and don't allow them to play out from the back, because they are happy to pass among themself in their own half to run down the clock.

I don't think James is suspended anymore. I think it was only a 1 match ban.
