If he cost 50, 72 or 96 million he'd be getting his name chanted every time he tripped over the ball.

He's out of his depth but it's insane how cheaper players get held to higher standards.

He came with a sizeable loan fee. We have no obligation to try to support him because he's shown nothing and will be gone soon.

tbh we are paying his ridiculous wages.

We may not be close crisis mode but certainly there has to be some serious concerns in the Boardroom over the last month; for all the money we have spent to watch performances like today against a 2nd rate Everton team is a worry; if this was Frank, TT would be gone; like RM he's saved by the Champions League trophy....for now at least.

Oh come on, things aren't great right now but it's not even close to the poverty levels we were witnessing at the end of Frank's reign.

We tried to score from the first whistle and it took us 70 minutes.

When a seriously weakened Everton tried to score it only took them 4 minutes!

That stat sums up this game.

Worst performance of the season for me.

I know we had players out tonight but bearing in mind how poor Everton have been and how they had even more players missing, this is a very worrying result.

No kneejerk reactions, but you have to say we have lost ALL momentum whilst sides below us are gaining ground. Unless we do some good business in January window, think we are in for a long hard winter. Or maybe with the COVID situation as it is, this season can be written off and we'll see you all again in August..................................

Very poor performance,

Poor finishing first half cost us dearly

Second half was worse, subs that made us far worse

Anybody wondering why Pulisic isn’t getting game time need look at his performance tonight, he ain’t all that

Then there was Saul, how bad do you have to be for his place to go to an academy player

Finally Tommy as I said in game, why two keeper subs and no youth team attacker like Harvey Vale?

Shambolic.

Second half was a complete disasterclass. But yet again we are getting absolutely shafted by the fact that we cannot finish to save our lives. Should easily have gone into half-time with a 3-0 lead.

Saul Niguez have officially overtaken Cuadrado for the worst Chelsea-player I have seen. And he's far worse than even Cuadrado who was a complete disaster. His teammates don't want to pass to him, he's booed by supporters and he's got no redeeming qualities. I would hope we send him homewards tomorrow.

We don't have a particularly great squad. There is a whole lot of deadwood that the manager and club need to clear out for some fresh blood this coming summer.

Title challenge is officially over. We will likely lose to both Wolves & Villa in my view. We are down to bare bones here. Injuries, Covid, obvious mental fatigue.

You are wrong. The problem is not Tuchel and I think the board know that. We have to fix a major recruitment failure as we spent so much money on players to score goals and that is exactly what they are not doing.

The board have always made the manager responsible, never the players. It’s a lot cheaper that way.

It was clear at the start of the season that we were going to rely on a small squad of players. Presumably the board and management team were ok with that. This is what happens when you lose a few key players. We have nowhere near a good enough squad to challenge for the title.

Is the squad really small? Off my head 3 goalies,  9 defenders, 5 midfielders + Saul, and 7 up front. That is more than enough players IMO.

I could be wrong but I think I saw something saying it was too short notice to call up youth team players as they are in a separate bubble.

Absolutely seething with that performance.. I can’t understand why we can never change our formation.. also moving pulisic to wingback!

tuchel needs to have a plan b - if he wants to win the epl. Right now our plan b is try plan. A again

This formation doesn’t work in the long run we get caught out.. our build up is too slow.. we lost the midfield completely with the substitutes.

I dont think it doesn't work per se, I think it is heavily reliant on our midfield and if we don't have the right balance the team struggles. That balance is usually Jorghi and Kante/Kovacic but since the latter have been injured, we've struggled. RLC, Saul, and Barkley are not good enough for me personally.

Liverpool just scored another great goal ffs.

No way! What, shot from outside the box?  It is not how one plays football, right?

This is a fixture Giroud would have been made for. Very poor by us, but I am hoping that the return of Kante and Kovacic will improve things markedly

Remember back in the day when we weren’t winning so we’d throw an extra player forward and everyone on the pitch busted a gut to go for it?

Now we just pass aimlessly along the back three until the referee finally puts us out of our misery.

I cant blame the manager this time. Our players are just crap and overrated.

The thing is, I can't even say they have no bottle, because they clearly do which is why we won the Champions League. The problem is their attitude. It's like they think they are the dogs bollocks and then just stop playing and don't pick it back up again. I remember Chilwell making comments last season about feeling like we can beat anybody, then what happens after that? We go on a sh*t run of form and Lampard ends up sacked. Same sh*t is happening all over again.
