First half flew in. We're doing better than I feared but you have to think we will regret the Pulisic and Mount chances. 

Every season I think to myself that this is going to be the season where we improve in front of goal, but it never happens. I just don't understand how they can be this bad at it.

Not having a dig at you CFC but some people on here seem to think EVERY chance we have in front goal should automatically be finished. If only it was that easy. The only player who I feel does miss straight forward chances on a pretty regular basis when they come is Werner.

To me worst miss is Mane from 2 yards out and Havertz.

Good half of football. Soaked up their high pressing, a great save by Eddou but as usual poor finishing stops us from being 2 up everything left to play for, they’re there for the pick off if one of our forwards can keep composed in front of goal

Wait for the pundits to say "Lukaku would have finished these chances" without factoring in we created the chances due to fluid play that never happens with him on the pitch.

We can never get the best of Liverpool these days, and it's always because of missed opportunities and unforced errors. 

 

Mount was looked easier than it was. Pulisic should have scored. 

Good start, really pressed them and hassled them a lot. Then went totally off the boil and were getting overrun. Signs of improvement towards the end of the half though.

Havertz was offside, he knew before he even took the shot. You could tell he was just waiting for the linesman to put the flag up.

It seems to be a systemic issue at the club. Every attacker goes to sh*t soon after they join.
