We have missed him though. The problem is that he has had no pre season and was rushed back into the team because the others were so bad and Kante is injured again.

Now Potter knows what we are.

Overall, I think this game has been a positive step. There are things to work on, though. 

In particular, the hesitation by some players around and in the box. There are quite a lot of crossing and shooting opportunities we missed out on.

 

I think Broja will do well under Potter.

Giving Azpi a new contract is part of the reason the window was so bad.

Barca panicked Boehly so much he gave a long term contract and a pay rise to a player who's legs have completely gone.

No idea why he's playing games it's like if we gave final Mou season Ivanovic a new contract.

Kova can be decent but is yet another player who becomes better when not in the side. For all his qualities, goals and assists are not amongst them and we are clearly lacking that sort of contribution right now (and have been for a while).

I really hate how much our game has changed in the past 5 years. We have completely transitioned from a strong and ruthless team to a soft, possession based bunch of wimps that crack under pressure.

I have to ask - why the f**k is Jorginho (no physical presence, never scores in open play) in the box for a corner and Gallagher (gifted goalscorer, recently sent off for hauling someone down on the break) on the halfway line?
