Definitely seemed like a higher tempo of football tonight. It's been very impressive.

Just need to see how it holds up or how we change come a weekend playing someone that sits deep.

10/10 to Graham Potter for bringing on all the right subs tonight, and giving all of them a decent number of minutes

Honestly Potter not disrespecting the club and blowing the fulltime whistle after 70 minutes by bringing on Pulisic or Ziyech every week is a big positive.

He's managed the game well tonight.

Hyphenated names are notoriously difficult for scousers. Only Alexander-Arnold they can remember

I'm quite grateful they generally refer to him as 'Trent' considering the amount of spittle they would expel saying 'Alexander-Arnold' every time

Ridiculous how little has been made about James ball for the aubameyang goal,  if Alexander Arnold had done that the commentators would have never shut up about it.

Over the past couple of years he would have had so many assists with a proper striker.

From a doctor on Twitter:

Wesley Fofana’s injury looked to be non-contact with the knee collapsing inwards on a planted foot. Immediate concern is for an ACL injury, with secondary concerns for MCL, meniscus and bone bruising. Will update as we learn more.

Some will say that we beat a weakened side but that's not our problem really. Suddenly it doesn't feel as scary to think about what is to come once we go to San Siro for the second match against them.

The only thing wrong with todays performance is how quiet the fans have been again. I don't understand what is up with the fans these days, I'm tired of hearing the away fans for 90+ minutes every game.

They didn’t have a couple of defenders but we also restricted their attacking threat while they did have most of their attacking players available
