The previous four meetings between these two has been 1-1, 0-0, 0-0, 1-1, so it's no surprise this game isn't a thriller. Naive to think it would be.

RLC is such a frustrating player. Given his size he really should have a presence in the middle of the park but he rarely imposes himself in a game in a way someone of his physical stature should

Tell you what Loz compared to Jorginho so far, RLC has looked like Maradona in full flight!

When they are attacking through the centre and if Jorginho doesn't go and pick up an opponent but points to someone else to do it, just one more time, I will put my foot through the feckin TV

I am right about Sterling. One trick pony and we don't play that trick. Bang average footballer and woeful tonight so far

Before Auba turned up Sterling was our best forward.

Varane distraught he cannot continue to play at the legendary Stamford Bridge after waiting all his life to do so

Upset to get a potential world cup missing injury during the easiest warmup of his career

I think I'd try a few subs ... Chukwuemeka, Broja and Pulisic on for RLC, Jorginho and Aubameyang, and switch to 4-3-3 with Sterling and Pulisic as proper wingers playing wide, Mount back into midfield, and Kovacic at the base of the midfield 3.

We're already 4-3-3 by the looks of it...

I don't think this performance has even been that bad. I just think we are facing a team that is quite equal in level.

It's atrocious. Awful passing, awful touch play, poor movement. It's not a case of two teams being equal, it's just poor quality.

It is a cagey game. Both teams have barely created anything and both sides are pressing. I would say we have edged the chances on quality, to be honest. Possession is very equal.

Not saying it is a great game, though.

That's like saying compared to Peter Beardsley I'm like a young George Clooney
