Terrible, as usual.

Can barely string 3 passes together. Can't get out from the back. Long balls are lost every time. Aubamayang might as well not be playing.

If we have and more decent mid with kova.. we would be so much better.. instead of jorgi or RLC a Casemiro or a FDJ improves us immediately.. we wasted 60 mil on a squad player in CC.. could have spent it much better in hindsight on midfield.

Would honestly rather see us throw some subs on early second half and really go for it and lose, than watch another half like that.

That is as poor a half as I have seen in a long time (although improved a bit after putting three in midfield).

COME ON CHELSEA FFS!!!

So in 225 minutes of football + Injury time against Villa in the worst form in the league, Brentford and a mid table United at home we've created a grand total of 0 clear chances and been outplayed almost every single minute with our only goals coming from individual Villa errors.

Potters teams average 1 goal per game across his entire career.

He's worked his magic on us quickly.

Give GP his due - he's made a change in the 1st half, not many managers tend to do that and we are looking the better for the change.   Sterling is still his useless self though....Utd should have scored there

Yep - Sterling is a bit concerning. I haven't really watched him much recently at City, so I'm surprised his ability to dribble seems to have dissipated - that was by far his best asset.

It must be a nightmare for potter. 433, is clearly the best way to press United but it really expose Jorgi and silva.

How so lol. If anything else for Jorginho is best 4-3-3 he has more bodies at the front to pass the ball to.

Not a good half at all.

5 in the back is terrible for us, after the substitution we had more threat in attack but we might be open in defence.

We can't play like this and let United control the game, Kepa saved us and one big miss by Antony. We didn't even test De Gea...

I really hope to see something different in the second half, let's go CHELS!!!

Because Pep had Sterling high up and isolated most of the time. Sterling barely had to run from deep.

Spot on, except the bit about mid table United. They will be above us after this game at this rate. Shocking football form a team full of very average footballers

I totally agree but his line-ups of late have been bizarre even for someone who has been here a few weeks.

I understand why - to be honest, we have a bit of a weird mix of players. We have no real DM since Kante has become a full-time patient.

We have no replacement wing backs to continue our attacking play, so we cannot sustain a formation.

I think without a 3rd CB he will be dragged to cover in wide areas during the defensive phase.

Sometimes I do wonder whether people are really watching game because it just happened just 3 minutes ago

We have had 2-3 seasons to fix it.. the only real time we have it a go was under lamps for DC., but TT completely gave up on that and had us playing a back 3 .
