I hope we aren't paying any wages.

He's entitled to wages until it is confirmed he has breached his contract, so in this case I assume it's until the B-sample is formally announced.

It is odd how quiet it has been. We need answers at this point, what's with all the secrecy?

WADA has royally f**ked up with B-samples in athletics. But while athletes will struggle to afford to sue in the courts, Mudryk (and Chelsea by extension) has no such problem.

What does this mean? Have you got some background on WADA and what happened in athletics? I don't really follow it so any insight would be good.

Peter Bol - Australian athlete

Shayna Jack - Australian swimmer

WADA are persona non grata here in Australia, tbh. Their processes are opaque, their testing often lacks scientific validity etc

Would like to know if he gets the 2-4 year ban do we get anything else than just to freeze his salary.... financially I mean. I would think there are some clauses in contracts over this.

I would hope he gets sacked for gross misconduct and pays back all the wages he has received since he has stopped playing.

Bit like Mutu really.

I mentioned several pages back that the drug Mudryk took isn’t commonly taken “by mistake.”

I sympathize with him and the toll this Ukraine/Russia war has on him, but that sympathy is tarnished when he is attempting to use it as an excuse to alleviate the fact he used a PED that is commonly used by athletes in his region.

I still believe the delay is that the club are finalizing their internal investigation to confirm there is just cause for contract termination, so it doesn’t end up in litigation with the player.

Christ! Really? Is that what they are doing! Well is there any chance they could hurry it up a bit?

How about, " you are cancelled, you useless tattooed twat. Cheerio".

And then sit back and let him spend his own time and shekels pursing a claim for wrongful dismissal.

f**ks sake.

What - is this a dig/allegation of nefarious state interference (Russian malign activity?)

Mudryk, his team, and even his lawyers seem really thick.

Perhaps - or are they implying that there is Russian state interference. If they believe that, then not right to fight - even if it seems far fetched to the more sane of us (and UB)
