I completely understand what you're saying. I went out and it's all I can think of right now...

Jesus, come on mate, there are loads of better things to think about... You must know that?

The options if we do it for me feel.

Flick on an Hiddink 2009 esque interim basis.

Luis Enrique.

Approach Stefano Pioli (AC Milan manager), he's recently ranted about how Serie A can't financially compete with the EPL.

If Potter is to go I would not like either option 2 or 3 there.

Flick IF he is willing to consider leaving Germany is a winner, as managers I don't believe the other 2 are, Luis failed epically at the world cup and am not convinced one league title makes the Milan gaffe a good option.

Also it could be worse. Think of poor @Munkworth. Qhen was the last time he saw his beloved side outplayed, outfought and beaten twice in the same season by the side he loaths so much?

Much as it sacked for us imagine what it was like for him.

I like Enrique a lot, I know people will say MSN tax which is fair to an extent but I thought his Barca were fantastic.

Regarding Pioli it's not so much one league title but more the way he's risen Milan almost from the ashes. It should be unthinkable thinking we can just poach a manager from a club that size but given the financial situation of both leagues it's very much a possibility.

"Chelsea... were nowhere near their top level... and got what they deserved for picking a team that would have been more suitable for the early rounds of the Carabao Cup. There was no cohesion; only a performance to test the insistence that Chelsea are building under Potter..."

Whoever is moaning about Sterling - Who came on and injected some life and pace upfront have their heads up their ass.

The one time Mount had a clear opportunity to put our young striker Fofana in - he doesn't - loses possession - he then tracks back - Chelsea get the ball back only for Mount to give back to them and then they get the free kick and score!!!

Who get's taken off at half time? Fofana

Who get's moved to No9 - Mount ffs

We need a bit of consistency... and WE ARE THE TEAM that should be doing the pressing not Southampton.

Just poor - poor management - poor playing style - poor team selection - poor everything at the moment.

Fair points Argo. Why do you think Spain flopped so bad then?

Don't know enough about his spell there but international football is a different beast.

Surely. But today made me the most frustrated I've been about a game in a while, so a little extra time was needed for the emotions to settle down.

I just realized something funny. Soton won and they didn't even get out of the bottom.

That's how sh*t their season is and without a manager, came out more organized and outplayed us.

We are a joke.

Southampton will be relegated, but at least they will have the memory of doing a double on us this season. They sacked a manager who had a better record than ours, and beat us again without a proper manager, got either respect them or laugh at ourselves. If Boehly watched the game, just sign Ward Prowse in the summer, our attackers just need to earn fouls instead of scoring next season, imagine Ward Prowse has 4-5 tries at Free Kick of that range every game 😁

Not that anyone will care but we easily won on the basis of xG. We should have won easily so all the criticism justified. Nevertheless statistically we were the better team.

The xG for the Ward-Prowse free kick was 0.06 and for the Sterling chance that Perraud cleared off the line it was 0.55. That's pretty much all the difference as far as xG is concerned.

xG, like most stats, is only an "indicator" metric. At the end of the day you still have to put the ball in the net regardless of the algorithms perception of the relative ease or difficulty of the chance. 3 out of the 8 matches played in the PL yesterday had a different result to that suggested by xG.

100% agree. And yet over time and on average it’s a good predictor. One of these days I’ll put together a league table based on net xG

I laugh so that I don't start crying!
