We are getting sliced open in defence every time. Seriously…this squad is valued at £800mill and Brightons is £50mill. Lampard should just give it up. Worst manager ever…we looked so much better under Bruno against Liverpool. We simply don't have much structure and we also lack the buildup and movement off the ball as well. We're not a team right now.

I don't know what you expected with the same group of players who can't fight and have zero backbone. Until they grow a spine and start bullying teams, we've no chance of turning this around any time soon, regardless of manager.

April 15, 20233 yr Obviously Pulisic getting stick because that's what he's there for, but he is much more involved in the game than Sterling.

And I'm sorry but Lamps is totally clueless as to what to do to fix it, it was a daft decision to get him in, should've just got the right man in straight away. And who might that be, willing to step in mid-season? Even if a new permanent manager had started immediately and failed to improve us, then people would have complained the board hadn't taken enough time to consider. Everything is hindsight.
April 15, 20233 yr Brighton's football is everything this club has been aiming for since Sarri, but we have failed miserably. Can't play out of the back, midfield doesn't press well, forwards are chicken sh*ts and play backwards.

Mental to see how this season has panned out. With the quality in this squad I don't understand it. Tuchel won us the Champions League, the Club World Cup and the Super Cup, got top 4 twice and runners up in 3 cup finals, losing 2 on penalties. On top of that he's now saved us from relegation to the Championship, the guy deserves a statue

April 15, 20233 yr Half Time stats : Pretty much destroyed us for 45 minutes. Thank heavens for a lucky deflection on our goal !
April 15, 20233 yr Cant blame Lampard, he wasnt going to say no. This is Cordons team now, he made this executive decision. The response Lampard gave in the press conference he knew he was Cordons appointment. What a fn joke, Cordons been Boehlys advisor all along. Embarrassing.

The same group of players that won the Champions League and got top 4 easily with an injury crisis last season? Actually not the same group of players, as we've replaced Jorginho with one of the best central midfielders in the world.
April 15, 20233 yr Replacing Potter with Lampard was pointless. Not being able to convince a top coach to come in before the Madrid tie shows what an un appealing proposition Chelsea are, and pulling the trigger with no plan short or long term, shows what a shambles the club are right now.
April 15, 20233 yr No way we come away with anything from this game unless there is a miraculous change to the 2nd half. The only thing Brighton need is to be a bit more clinical and they walk away with an easy 3 or 4 goal win.

April 15, 20233 yr Brighton playing like a club that has: a) a system b) Continuity to structure and ethos c) coaching players to be familiar in their role... This is what we were aiming for under Potter (who let's not forget built the foundation for the current Brighton team). Unfortunately- short term charlie's couldn't be patient, and new money discontent grew so we chucked out that plan - and are currently starting yet again
