Can Pochettino even save this 'team'?

We could argue individually we have good players, but none of these guys can hit a barn door with a banjo and we are a joke at the back too. Absolutely demoralising follow these guys at the moment.

We’ve spunked £600m on sh*t. During the times of Willian, Pedro and Bats getting sh*t, but looks like a f**king dream front 3 for me now. f**k sake, honestly

I think Frank is sacked tonight. I hate he and Ashley Cole are now attached to this, but there is no denying Frank has somehow made us even worse. His face and walk straight down the tunnel said it all.

Quite possible. But unless Pochettino is ready to start straight away then who are these clowns going to try next? James Corden?

It’s not just the footballing world that’s upside down.  Pretty sure I’m living in a virtual simulation.

Yes lots of things are just really weird right now… and fragile.

This right here is why so many of us were worried about the standards of whats acceptable at this club being massively lowered to accomodate Potter earlier on this season. It was accepted for the manager so it's obviously creeped into the players as well and this sh*t here is what you end up with.

I mean every week there’s an article that half the players are being sold on a fire sale, those players probably know they are being sold and don’t give a sh*t. With Potter gone, The other half already have their minds on next season

The most odd thing is of all the times to sack Potter it gets done when things start looking, well I don't want to say good but 1 loss in 6 (including Bruno's game) with us having the territorial dominance in all of them.

Are the owners listening to the fans? We're f**ked if they are because Pochettino will be turned on pretty quickly unless he's in a title race.

Ah sorry mate didn't realise Todd and Clearlake played 5 defenders and 5 midfielders at homeagainst a league 1 club on steroids. Didn't realise they put almost all of our new signings on the bench or out of the squad altogether. Didn't realise they told our players to forget how to kick a football.

This blaming of new ownership is so f**king boring

They didn't make those bad decisions you talk of but they employed the bloke who did. That bloke being the same bloke the club sacked last year.

I'm not saying some of the players aren't performing but the new regime has contaminated the whole club with a losing mentality.

And who to blame for all the transfer mess?????????????????

What transfer mess? The individuals are good but the managers are f**king awful. Most of the players that Lampard started tonight were here before our new owners took charge.

People blaming Boehly and Co, yet they've invested £600m into this squad. Sorry, but the performances should be far better on the pitch, regardless. For me it's on the players as much as the coach. They can hide behind blaming the coach, but it's utter bollocks. The blame has to be 50/50 on coach and players. For the the players are doing far less than the coaches. Granted, Frank has been very frustrating, but it's on the players to put in performances week in, week out. You try and give your all, which is what you're being paid big pounds for. In front of your own fans against a team in sh*t form and this is how you perform? The effort has been abysmal for months.

look at the bigger picture, easy to blame the manager as he's the silly C on the telly that carries the can

Do you know why historically football clubs way back when decided to create a 'manager' position ?

So it relieved them of the 'burden' of having to deal with the fans when results were not going the club's way and put a middleman in-between the playing staff and owner.

Frank wouldn't be in this position now if not for a string of stupendous 'own goals' this season by TB & co.

He couldn't be any worse tactically than Frank, and that is astonishing to say. Far too much evidence to back up the fact that Frank is absolutely not cut out for management.

Any fan that expects Pochettino to be in a title race needs a reality check. IMO he deserves 2-3 of minimum qualifying to CL to sort out this mess

We were absolutely dreadful under Potter, but this is even worse. Didn't think it was even possible.

Boehly is an absolute joke, can't believe we are stuck with him.

It'll get rid of the glory hunters at least, that's the only positive I can think of 😂

They have sacked 3 managers in a season, they have signed way too many players, they have paid extortionate amounts for unproven talent, they have handed out ridiculous contracts both in value and length, the list goes on. To think this has had no affect on the team is ridiculous. When Thiago Silva came out the said the owners need to ‘stop’ that tells you everything you need to know.

Agreed. Even in the loss against Villa in Potter's last game we looked so much better than the rubbish we are serving up now. At that point of the season they would have been better off sticking with Potter while they determined who would be the replacement.  As soon as we appointed an interim the players new the season was over and it has been reflected in their play ever since.

I genuinely don't see how there is a quick fix to this which is the most scary thing.

Whoever comes in is taking on probably the hardest job in world football right now.

They'll be no doubt handsomely rewarded if they fail though, which is just as worrying.

There is no quick fix. There is a huge overhaul needed and that takes multiple windows, patient owners and patient fans (not the sort who'd rather watch Arsenal play City than watch Chelsea).

Hardest job in football? Nah. Huge financial backing, top flight stadium, lure of the capital, massive salary...

I'll take that all day compared to managing a non league team with toilets that leak, juggling my actual job and having to make sure I don't forget to put 50p in the meter.

Keeping us up at this point is an absolute win for me

SO you think is a great strategy to look what others clubs looking for and we to cheat with more money and don't know if these players are fit for us?

This is not an American sport where the players are stars and the coach is some 3-rd party person.

The transfers, the sackings, the appointments, all on the owners, all of these crazy decisions being made without any knowledge about the sport they have involved themselves in has f**ked us, but it shouldn't be this bad. The players are also a disgrace for their lack of effort and desire to make things right. I have praised Thiago Silva throughout his whole time here with us, but him bitching about the owners the other day is just an excuse. The players on the pitch can and should be offering a lot more, even if the dressing room had to be made bigger so everybody can fit. f**king hell, there are some clubs with barely a dressing room at all that will work their asses off to get the result, and they ain't walking home with 150k+ every week. This lot are in the most privileged position in the sport, they can f**k off with the excuses because I'm not having any of it.

Get out there and go face to face with the fans, obsorb their anger and sort it out. If not, f**k off out the club, I'm not interested in your sh*t excuses anymore.

All due respect but I switched to City vs Arse, simply because I just cannot deal with what is happening to this club and I’ll make no apologies for it. I knew what would happen to us tonight and I didn’t want to see it.
