Didn’t see us scoring at all. Until trippier mistake, this team is very inexperienced and it shows with some costly mistakes… we need more experience in the team.

Attack wise we were terrible and can’t help but feel we got slightly lucky. However, that did feel good!

Got the win we deserved tonight.

Thought we played okay but it was frustrating. IF only we still had a Hazard who could just turn a game and win it with one piece of brilliance. Our strikers just don't cut it and are too easy to defend against so no matter how well we play, we lack the cutting edge to win tight games.

They finally got a second shot on target in the 91st minute. Only one team deserved to win that game and it wasn't the Barcodes.

Have to say though would swap Caicedo for Guimares in a heartbeat. A player who gives his all every single game and makes his team tick.

It was frustrating but we actually had some great goal scoring opportunities. Jackson missed a strong chance and Sterling was unlucky, and couldn't have done any more, twice. Never mind Broja being offside.

If I were a Newcastle fan I would be fuming with the way the played in the second half. Steve Bruce-ball with a bit more cash.

I agree. It's been miserable for so long, and winning a penalty shoot out is always an amazing feeling.

Well have some of that

- Positive changes again (especially if the Enzo one wasn't due to injury/fitness which it probably was)
- Mudryk coming up clutch
- A tactical switch which worked
- Heroic penalty save from Petrović
- A cup assist for Trippier to go along with his previous goal.

Pizza Hut contract lined up for Trippier.
