What's strange is his Spurs team at their best were built around Walker and Rose.

Yeah, the whole thing makes no sense.

Who said anything about subs? It's not about who you substitute onto the pitch, it's about what you change tactically. You must see what the rest of us see. How can leaving the back post free in every situation be anything but poor management from Pochettino? Why are we allowing every single team to have all of the space out wide and why does he think playing the fullbacks so narrow is anything other than a disaster waiting to happen? It only started when he took over and he doesn't seem to see that it's causing issues.

Also, why does he let these player persist with playing it back to the keeper just to allow teams to press us into losing the ball in our own half? He should be stopping this, but I never even see a reaction from him when it goes wrong. I don't understand why he's not instructing our players to play it into attacking positions when we have it on the half way line. It should never be going back to the goalkeeper.

Ask the players. Every single game they let other teams to score so easy.

Silva why is angry 3 games to his teammates in row now?

It's so completely unexpected, and he is coming from such a low base, that when he actually does manage to get it right at a key moment it makes him look like Pele and we all remember it.

He seems marginally better out wide than he is through the middle but that isn't saying much.

It was a great pass... and he actually got us out of trouble at the other end... the rest was pretty poor but maybe he's far more comfortable in Palmer's shoes and Palmer is definitely a better finisher than Jackson

Only we could make a win feel like a loss. Chaotic last fifteen minutes. Three up, and we concede two easy goals, they had a goal disallowed, and hit the bar twice. We were lucky we only conceded two.

Well played Palmer though. Quality player. In the end, it’s three points. But bloody hell that was hard to watch.

No, we need to ask the manager. The players are doing what he is instructing. This is something of Pochettino's making because it wasn't there during Tuchel, Potter or Lampard's time as coach.

It was the same with them too. Look at them again and then tell me again.

I'm stunned that every single season you guys don't let any manager to stay more than 3 months. Crying for storm makers like Conte and Mou, Tuchel like they are GODS despite all of their messes.

It will be the same with your next manager. I want to be Flik and after 3-4 month will see same thing- OUT

No it wasn't. If it was, then our defensive record last season would have been as bad it has been this season. They all played a back 3 last season, the fullbacks / wingbacks were never narrow and we weren't beaten at the back post in every game. Most of goals conceded this season have come from issues with the back post and the fullbacks being tucked in. Most of the time they are playing like LCB's and RCB's.

It would help if we had a decent option a LB that wasn't continually injured. The alternatives are not good enough.

Okay, who is fit for back 3? Tell me 3 who are not making mistakes for more than two matches in a row

The same is for back 4

How do you know that ?

I imagine Silva wouldn't be shouting at them like he is  if they were doing what they are supposed to be doing .....

Disasi, Colwill and Gusto today are all new to the backline THIS season, so it's far more likely this is more about the players rather than the manager. And don't forget that they are pretty much our second string back line as well ... plus both the specialist DMs that he could use in front of them as an additional screen are also injured ...

Just joke of performance. Can't keep the ball, can't defend.

Poch need to make his sub sooner, Alfie need to come in straight away after Luton scored.

Hmmm.... again today when opponent had more or the ball, we scored 3.

Palmer did what an attacking player needs to do game in game out.

We won and got 3 points. That is better than our good performance against Liverpool or Arsenal. Let's take the win, 3 points and celebrate.

I had a great time watching this match. I have finally got my daughter interested in football and we have now watched 2 full matches together.

We've been having great fun with Jackson. Predicting his unrivalled ability to turn promising postions into turnovers has become one of our themes. Gutted I didn't predict the foul throw. Silva is both our favourite player with the added bonus for Isabel that she fancies him.

I thought we defended well for 70 minutes until we lost our composure. I see Caicedo getting a far bit of stick but I thought he did well and is slowly looking more comfortable out there. Gusto had an excellent first half. Selling Conor would be a huge mistake if that is on the cards. Poch's look of surprise when Ferdinand said that Colwill was excellent was fun.

When the camera zoomed in on the crying 6-year-old Luton fan after the VAR decision Isabel shouted "Take that you w**ker".

I've never been more proud.

The fact that you think Disasi was still okay after a few mind lapses is amazing. You can't have any of them at this level. You may get away with one, but any time there was pressure put on him, he didn't step up. He was lucky he had Silva next to him to do his job for him.

Caicedo and Gallagher don't dominate a midfield. Gallagher puts up a good fight, but Caicedo is just not strong enough to hold that position. His reactions are too slow and physically he is very easy to get the best of. When teams start putting pressure on us, Caicedo completely disappears or gets completely dominated. That is not good enough from a DM. You need your deepest midfielder to take back control of a game when things get tough.

Since Gallagher is the only player playing well in the team and you say Caicedo is not playing well, maybe we should clone nine other Gallaghers and play ten Gallaghers with the goalkeeper. I think many Chelsea fans will like that.

For Caicedo, there are different kinds of DMs in football. Barcelona played for many years with Busquests and he wasn't the most rugged DM in football.

It all depends on his partner. We may have an offensive style with Enzo as his partner, that can make us score a lot of goals but concede a few goals. But if his partner is both not very good defensively and not good offensively (this is what is happening now), then we will concede goals and yet not score much goals.

It certainly was a regular thing during Lampards first time as coach.

Second time round we rarely had any leads to protect.

You may get a chance to find out if and when Gallagher is sold. But perhaps cast your mind back to Man United away when we were totally overrun in midfield with Caicedo and Enzo in midfielder, and Gallagher suspended.

10/10 for trying to steer her in a good direction anyway. Watching Chelsea with her, even if we lose badly, is much better than having to sit with her watching the likes of TFS (that's Taylor f**king Swift in my house 🙂 )
