Perhaps 3 months ago but somebody remind me of the last time recently we played a good 90 minutes.

As many others have mentioned is clear as day we are going nowhere with Poch.

That's true but in that period (and the last month or two of Potter where we were starting to play quite well outside the of the opposition box) we were told only the result counts.

It can't work both ways.

Jackson giving away a foul throw is beyond belief. However we must be patient as Bert & Ernie (AKA Winstanley and Stewart) are confident that within a year he will be competent at taking a throw!

I thought the foul throw was a load of nonsense to be honest. I see that exact throw every single game and the refs don't give anything. The ref was influenced by the crowd.

Ok, but now performances are poor and results are poor despite Eze & Kabore keeping him in his job a littlebit longer.

And when we are 10th in January then you better have good results & good performances simultaneously if you want to prove that you should be in the job next season.

Think you are being harsh on those players.

Disasi was okay for the most part, few mind lapses but nothing you don't already expect from him. Colwill was okay too until he started getting doubled up on, Jackson did what he could but a clear flaw in the system rather than Colwill's fault. Gallagher had a poor last 20 mins or so but fine otherwise. Caicedo made some key tackles and interceptions so can't really complain too much. I probably agree on Broja though.

The fact that you think Disasi was still okay after a few mind lapses is amazing. You can't have any of them at this level. You may get away with one, but any time there was pressure put on him, he didn't step up. He was lucky he had Silva next to him to do his job for him.

Caicedo and Gallagher don't dominate a midfield. Gallagher puts up a good fight, but Caicedo is just not strong enough to hold that position. His reactions are too slow and physically he is very easy to get the best of. When teams start putting pressure on us, Caicedo completely disappears or gets completely dominated. That is not good enough from a DM. You need your deepest midfielder to take back control of a game when things get tough.

Luton at home has given everyone a difficult game.

Fair point. No team has beaten Luton at home by more than a single goal.

Luton's home results:

  • Luton 1-2 West Ham = 1/09/2023
  • Luton 1-1 Wolves = 23/09/2023
  • Luton 1-2 Burnley = 3/10/2023
  • Luton 0-1 Tottenham = 7/10/2023
  • Luton 1-1 Liverpool = 5/11/2023
  • Luton 2-1 Crystal Palace = 25/11/2023
  • Luton 3-4 Arsenal = 5/12/2023
  • Luton 1-2 Man City = 10/12/2023
  • Luton 1-0 Newcastle = 23/12/2023
  • Luton 2-3 Chelsea = 30/12/2023

And who to be on subs then? You see that only few players are in level to do something others are crap.

What Enzo did?????

First, you all look at injury  list and top asking why that person is not in the squad

Second, stop moaning why this person is on the pitch, then when he is substitution and the sh***t happened to blame Potch

Potch is not to blame that players are soft idiots and let from 0-3 to become 3-3 almost, or 4-3

I’m not as worried as others. This team is very inexperienced. And these are the outcomes of it

Just needs a bit more time and more consistency. In individual games we can have players who give a 7/10. Unfortunately they don't do it all at the same time in the game so one week say Gusto's a 7 next game he's a poor 3 or 4. Consistency please guys!

4 more wins from the 40 point mark. I still always look for that first 😉

Technically 43 is the magic number 🫢

No team in the current PL (20 teams and 38 games) has ever been relegated with 43 points or higher.

I thought Jackson was awful..one good pass, other than that he was a liability

It's so completely unexpected, and he is coming from such a low base, that when he actually does manage to get it right at a key moment it makes him look like Pele and we all remember it.

He seems marginally better out wide than he is through the middle but that isn't saying much.

Think you're being a bit harsh with Palace tbh, that game should have been over before they scored. And today can be counteracted with Wolves in recent times alone whereas even moderate finishing has us with the 3 points.

For the record I'm far from happy with Poch largely due to how he's made people unironically think Enzo and Caicedo are crap and I'd be saying it even if we had a few more wins but my point is it's about time we had some of the so called luck in reverse.

Quite so.

Gave both Arsenal and Manchester City in particular a very hard game, and scored 3 against Arsenal, who only beat them in the end thanks to a 96th minute goal from Declan Rice.

It was a great effort to get to 3-0 up against them.

Disappointing to see them peg us back to 2-3 but ultimately the same narrow win as the best two teams in the country managed. Oh, and Liverpool only drew here, and Newcastle lost.

I thought Gusto struggled defensively, but I don't think that is on him as much as it is the manager. He has our fallbacks playing so narrow. I know that our CB's aren't the quickest, but constantly leaving the back post free is a terrible solution. Every single team playing crosses to the back post, you don't need to be a good coach to spot that weakness. If Pochettino doesn't trust the CB's, then playing one of the CM's deeper would be a better answer than having our two fallbacks give the entire width to the opposition.

He narrows the full backs and has them so deep, with no protection in front of them and allows teams to double up and pressure with ease, not helped by having wingers come in too which gives their full backs free reign to bomb on.

Taking our winger off for a short arsed midfielder while this was happening was unbelievable.

I'm not suggesting it's okay to have those, I've already long accepted that Disasi is 4th or 5th choice CB that Poch keeps playing cause he's scared we lose out on aerial duels. I'm yet to see make any difference mind you.

I disagree on Caicedo today, when the pressure was on he was the only one in the midfield still winning tackles and making interceptions. Sure we lost it again straight away but that's hardly his fault.

Yeah that was suicide. Only made amends by bringing on Gilchrist and play a back 5.

What's strange is his Spurs team at their best were built around Walker and Rose.

Who said anything about subs? It's not about who you substitute onto the pitch, it's about what you change tactically. You must see what the rest of us see. How can leaving the back post free in every situation be anything but poor management from Pochettino? Why are we allowing every single team to have all of the space out wide and why does he think playing the fullbacks so narrow is anything other than a disaster waiting to happen? It only started when he took over and he doesn't seem to see that it's causing issues.

Also, why does he let these player persist with playing it back to the keeper just to allow teams to press us into losing the ball in our own half? He should be stopping this, but I never even see a reaction from him when it goes wrong. I don't understand why he's not instructing our players to play it into attacking positions when we have it on the half way line. It should never be going back to the goalkeeper.
