The club has become an embarrassment to the fans and we're just expected to accept this new transition. Losing is one thing, but to keep doing it in such shameful style should never be accepted. Even the commentators were saying how much of a bottle job that was today, and no, it's nothing to do with being biased against Chelsea, it was speaking facts. Liverpool had 4 players that have barely kicked a football at senior level and they outplayed us and beat us. 

These owners, the players, the coaches, they keep pulling this club further down to humiliating levels and you don't expect the fans to react negatively?

Ok so we lost another final. It's done. But with this squad and this manager next season and we're in a serious relegation battle. Don't know who recommended some of the players but they must be pissing themselves laughing whilst sitting on a pile of cash. Exactly my point. There is no point in us signing 100+ mill players when nearly every player we sign progressively gets worse with us. Hard to recall a player who actually got better with us. Hazard was probably the last one.

I said that the chances missed will come back and bite us.

We just never showed up in extra time after such a good end to the 90. Klop really getting his lot going, Poch doing nothing but chatting away calmly. A disgrace. Imagine Jose doing that back in the day. Disgrace. I’m done with this lot.

Don't know all of you, but since our league season is basically the same, I preferred getting knocked out by Coty in 2 3rd rounds to losing finals.

Either way we are losers, but lost far less painfully.

Club is a fossil of what it once was.

As much as I hate to piss all over the 'Klopp's kids won the cup' narrative, it's probably worth noting that out of two XIs which finished the match, Liverpool's had the highest average age. (Chelsea 22.63, Liverpool 24.09).

I'm guessing you were watching through Caciedo's dad's specs!  He was awful. Offered next to nothing  as a defensive midfielder. My missus was offered more protection when I used a sock as a condom.

Gallagher probably our best player in the second half without ever being great.

And yet all the pundit were agreeing that Gallagher was Chelsea's best player (despite the misses). 

You clearly know nothing about football if you think Caicedo was decent. He miss times more tackles than Paul Scholes!

probably would which points to Pochettino's shortcomings. A reputation as a "great coach" - the guy has won virtually nothing. A French league and cup with a PSG side that had Neymar and Mbappe

Think you'll find its Chelsea.  The team I was born about 7 miles from.  Your go.

What an asbolutely pathetic performance.  You can unpack so many parts of today, but I'm just going to keep it simple.

Liverpool wanted it more.  They are better coached, prepared and have a much stronger mentality and desire to win matches.

Passive Poch is a wet coach.  As ineffective coach as I can recall.  The only coach that I can even compare to (in recent times) that was equally as uninspiring was Avram Grant. 

To be honest if the game had gone straight to penalties I would have said we put in a decent performance and looked like winning it towards the end.  
However that extra time performance was disgraceful.  Looked like we were playing for penalties with 10 men and this against an under 21s side! Pathetic.

Throughout the match, we must have given away possession in our own half nearly 100 times. Disasi had about 5 loose touches that gave away chances to Liverpool. 

The players looked scared, even when we had periods of more control, we shat the bed and missed like 3 sitters and plenty of other chances to score but a player would choke anytime it came to making the correct decision.

Extra time was just pitiful. Stopped playing completely and got humiliated by 4 kids that have barely kicked a ball at this level. This lot choked so badly and humiliated themselves, again.

Thanks Enzo that back heel is going to be in my nightmares tonight.
