No self-respect from a coach who accepts that even for one match. But this is such a big IF!

The Leicester fan who always pops up here stated rotation was an issue at Leicester too, among other familiar things. It becomes increasingly difficult to predict the XI and Maresca has shown he is prepared to chop and change, to rest and rotate, and even play some players in unfamiliar positions.I'm more inclined to believe he is just a vastly inexperienced manager who doesn't know how to manage a squad vs the ownership/directors forcing him to rotate his players....Can't read that - paywalled. Not a page that is archived on archive.is either. We'll see what happens anyway. My money on Caballero as interim for City game.

Mind you I bought my house for 120k 28 years ago and apparently its worth 600k today. Does it make me an astute property investor, does it fck. Buying prime Real Estate in West London on the cheap and then gloating when the value goes up, hmm righto.

When it comes to his formation and philosophy, Maresca is totally invested in his methods. Regardless of the opposition, he sticks to his principles on how he wants his Leicester to shape up. He is fully committed to doing things his way, whatever the outcome may be.He may tweak his base unit from game to game, but ahead of that base, it becomes increasingly difficult to predict the XI and Maresca has shown he is prepared to chop and change, to rest and rotate, and even play some players in unfamiliar positions.Maresca likes to keep his players on their toes and doesn’t reveal the starting line-up until just a few hours before kick-off. When Bristol City visit the King Power Stadium on Saturday, Maresca is almost certain to rotate his options once again. Exactly how he does it remains to be seen, even the players won't know until they arrive at the stadium. Ergo, he's a twat.
January 1Jan 1 If he’s told them he wants to leave then they either give him his pay off or have a coach who doesn’t want to be here.
January 1Jan 1 I never really like maresca, but the cancer is the owners and until they are gone nothing will change, the soul has been ripped out of our club by the American frauds. Edited January 1Jan 1 by Bluesince66

January 1Jan 1 The owners are no doubt the problem but I'll happily celebrate Maresca going. Can't f**king stand the football we've been playing under him, and the results have been just as sh*t. Let me take any win I can get please.
January 1Jan 1 If Maresca wants to go, there's no benefit trying to persuade him to stay.Once you've emotionally checked out, it's best to rip the bandaid off quickly.
January 1Jan 1 Maresca leaving is absolutely fantastic news in my eyes. Our squad could not get going at all because it’s a different starting line up every single game, at least 5 changes.Hopefully the next manager, we’ll keep a consistent line up and the players will begin to form an understanding between them and the performances will improve.
January 1Jan 1 It’s going to be a great start of the year if he leaves, at least until the board and SD’s reveal the next coach. Hopefully, they’ll show some ambition and appoint someone with character, leadership and experience.
January 1Jan 1 Announcement before the end of the day it seems, probably in the next couple of hours.
January 1Jan 1 Never thought this day would come.Had genuinely considered calling it in for the rest of the season as watching that dross trotted out every game was too much.Good f**king riddance.
January 1Jan 1 Anyone who's happy about this should give their head a wobble. No serious coach can work with the frauds above them.
January 1Jan 1 Brilliant start to the new year, worst manager weve had in my lifetime, just dreadful football in every way, ruining young players we have.

January 1Jan 1 To be honest I thought Man City played a blinder by pretending Enzo is wanted to be Peps successor. Thought our City loving board would fall for that hook line and sinker and back to keep him. However looks like Enzo quit rather than sacked.
