July 14, 20251 yr Okay it was a final so extra motivation in general should be just that but I loved the way he came in the game. He just wanted to battle PSG and didn't mind coming of the bench but really wanted to show he can start as well. I really want these two, maybe three (if Nico stays), to really battle it out. We need that and the personalities of Liam and Joao look the right type. Nico's boiled over a couple of times.

July 14, 20251 yr Loved what he did when he came on yesterday.Roughed up players, used his skills and was generally a handful for PSG.Different to Pedro in style but that’s a good thing if we use them right.

July 14, 20251 yr With J. Pedro, Delap and Guiu we should be good up top. Mr. Jackson may just be surplus to requirements. We shall see.
July 14, 20251 yr You can see the quality is there, just lacks the understanding of how to link up at an effective level like Joao Pedro. Something he'll 100% learn.Noticed he genuinely loves being a part of this club. From joining Palmer + Essugo in welcoming Estevao after full time against Palmeiras, to hyping up Nkunku after the Mendes 2 footed challenge. I for one hope to see him come earlier than the rest of the 1st team during preseason. Edited July 14, 20251 yr by Sconnie Blue
July 14, 20251 yr It was such a small thing, but him just shoving their defender out of the way easily at that corner and then being unmoved when he tried to shove back, made me smile. We've really missed the simplicity of a big lad up front who doesn't take sh*t from defenders.
July 14, 20251 yr I replied with a big post - then realised you were talking about Delap and not Jackson....so my arguments were not necessary! Edited July 14, 20251 yr by nonotnowjim
July 14, 20251 yr Love the kid already. We haven't had a player whose arse is too big for his shorts since JFH. Don't believe me? Ask @Liam

July 18, 2025Jul 18 I love him already..He's brutal and fearless, he is definitely going to offer something different for us this season, and defenders will hate him.He scored a reasonable amount of goals in a turgid Ipwit side last year, so for me, given decent service he'll do well for us.
August 9, 2025Aug 9 I thought last night showed where he needs to improve - his finishing. Had a couple of chances to score and didn’t. Compare that to Joao Pedro, one chance one goal. That’s the difference between good and elite Think he will be useful overall but needs to improve finishing.
August 10, 2025Aug 10 Going to be a beast. Best combination of strikers in England with him and Pedro.
August 10, 2025Aug 10 He might be exactly the kind of striker we’ve been needing for a few years.I do fully accept this is stating the bleeding obvious!😀
