The Jacksomeister has played 244 Bundesliga minutes and hasn't scored a single goal or made an assist yet. Let that sink in. He plays for Bayern Munich. In the Bundesliga. "Bundesliga" translated from the German, actually means "League of one team".

Che Adams would score goals in those circumstances. It's like being given repeated free swings and still missing with a huge banjo aiming at a giant cow's arse that has already been shot and is laying dead on the grass.

Saving himself for the Champions' League where he has three goal contributions in 112 minutes. Leave the Bildungsromanfußballverein to scrubs like Harry Kane, Jackson is saving himself for the continental titans of Pafos and Club Brugge.

Some absurd overreactions on here ffs.

He’s a young lad who’s got a big move, been sidelined by injury and was clearly frustrated.

I’m happy to finally have a striker in the side that can put himself about a bit.

Last night was silly but it’s a return from injury frustration type card.

Give the lad sometime and ANY comparisons to that braindead donkey we offloaded in the summer is borderline libel and has no place on a public forum.

What the hell does his injury and this so called frustration have to do with the red card he got? What is there to be frustrated about when you've come back after a long lay off? It was pure stupidity.

TBF Pafos and Brugge would probably turn us over with Pepilini in charge.

Early days, but looking like a clear downgrade on Jackson as it stands ... as evidenced by the sheer volume of Delap apologists and continued attacks on Nico LOL

I suppose we shouldn't really expect anything else from our SDs. They are pretty much incapable of making signings in any position that actually improves the side ...

Especially with Pafos' new maverick:

Credit where it is due. David Luiz, inventor of the World's largest Alice Band. Essential winter wear in Cyprus.

Only a matter of time before Cucurella has one.

Let's face it , the only reason we bought him was because at £30m he was cheap . . Improving the side is something that is secondary.. The SD's are working to the owner's transfer policy, and they are so good at it apparently that they were rewarded with long extended contracts to recognise the" outstanding work" they are doing .

Exactly. We'd of likely gone into this season with Jackson and Pedro.

Which again puts more frustration on the directors given they promised the quality in targets would rise with CL qualification.

They take us as mugs and I wish the home fans would organize better protests.

i think you're missing a few policies here, Bob.

Got groomed by Joe Shields:

Lavia, Delap, Sancho, Palmer, Gittens

Expensive and sh*te:

Enzo Fernandez, Pedro Neto, Fofana, Mudryk

Signed with absolutely no intention of ever playing for us:

Kellyman, Deivid Washington, Datro Fofana, Casadei, Wiley

Crap when he came on. Barely looks Premier League level.

Must admit I've been pretty disappointed in what he's shown us so far.

Looks perfect for the rough and tumble of the Championship ... and that's about it ...

Pretty sure he was signed more for the fact that it represented a very good deal rather than actual ability.

This is true for pretty much all of our signing.

I like Delap and think he is the type of forward we badly need.

The trouble we have, which also applies to so many of our players, apart from Maresca's "untouchables" (Caicedo, Fernandez, Gusto, Palmer and Jackson when he was here), is that they aren't given a run of games to bed in and build any kind of understanding within a settled team.

It must be really difficult for any young player to build consistency the way Maresca chops and changes so much. With the limited time they get on the pitch they are under pressure from the start. And as a result are often trying too hard to make any kind of impression, knowing full well the likelyhood is they won't be in the team for the next game.

I'd love Delap to get the pitch time Jackson was given by Maresca. It creates a different mindset for the player knowing that, even if he has a nightmare game, the manager will still pick him regardless.
