And our new manager thought he was great today!! Oh dear

He said that about everyone though, he said Guiu was outstanding when everyone saw he was awful apart from the goal.

Gotta help push their values ups.

Done absolutely nothing to stake a claim as a starter, in fact I'd say he struggled massively against a poor team. He can't dribble, he's constantly falling over the ball, shooting is poor and is not very good at crossing. Genuinely wondering what someone saw in him to make him one of our main summer targets.

He is another one of those one trick players. What he is good at, is transitional running in behind and then, if his confidence is there, finishing or assisting. This unfortunately doesn't seem to fit much with either Maresca's style or indeed Rosenior's. Putting him in as a wing back isn't going to work either by the looks of it.

Sounds like Timo Werner mk. 2 except his finishing completely left him when he came to England.

Yes. You can.

Watching football with your eyes.

How he sneaks in there I don’t know, data-wise he’s like a living-loophole. ‘Expected’ assists and ‘threats’ (omg he’s running with his head down at a defender but not doing anything! Oh sh*t, AI ticks box for ‘threat’) is being applied very loosely, and second assists out of context is just bonkers when you deep it.

21 years of age and 18 years of age. The future is bright once Neto is replaced.

Again, you mention Neto. Garnacho was really average against Charlton and I know if Neto put the performance that Garnacho did on Saturday, you would be the first to be on his thread, mocking him, but you protect Garnacho. He really did not set the world alight against Charlton at all.

Got subbed off and then Neto, scores with a great finish on his weaker foot. I know you will show these charts to prove meaningless points but Neto is a lot better than Garnacho. I want Garnacho to do well, but he has been dross recently and was outshone by Gittens on Saturday too.

It was many things, but not a great finish. He scuffed it and it was fortunate it rolled between the defender's legs. He completed ignored two better-placed, open teammates across the box too.

It didn't cost us against Charlton but moments like these frequently cost us against PL sides. Neto is the most experienced of our hapless trio of wingers, yet continues to make elementary mistakes.

The reality is we have three rubbish options and arguing about them is splitting hairs.

Ok, maybe I exaggerated with great finish but it was a good finish. I will continue to say, I disagree that he is rubbish. He is a good player.

The boss has also mentioned himself that he considers Neto a top talent. He named only a few there. He is not world class but he is not rubbish. He is inconsistent but generally speaking he has improved this season and I stand, he has been one of our better players. Yes, he does not need to work on consistency and productivity, but at least he still has improved his output from last season.

Garnacho will be sold in the summer. He is not good enough.

I was just watching the FA Cup highlights again and the crucial thing Garnacho did was 2mins after Charlton had made it 1-2 and got themselves back in it...

He drove the ball up the other end and seeing Bounanotte arriving - tee'd him up and Guiu made it 1-3 from the rebound - game over.

Yes Neto came on and scored, he beat a stand in keeper and stand in 19 yr old defender (from mid table Championship) who'd been on about 85 minutes longer than he had!

Taking out the fact none of them are actually currently good enough for Chels (or maybe they actually are and we’ve just fallen so far)

But does anyone genuinely believe Pedro Neto is a better player than Garnacho? I know Garnacho isn’t great but come on! He’s light years ahead of the head down donkey.
