When Neto was 21 he finished the season with 1 goal and 1 assist in all comps, 1 goal to go to match his output! They’re both mid, at least Garnacho has upside. Neto’s level was Wolves.Seems UEFA changed the rules around 2019, probs to align with corporate bullsh*t like their fantasy league. It’s pretty pathetic tbh, the premier league would not have given it. 007 it is (at least in a sane world).Garnacho’s level is West Ham. There is no upside. Now let’s sit back, and enjoy the highlights from your GOAT:

I wanna give him a chance to prove himself but he isn't doing himself any favours with performance like that.Same but the guy has no apparent redeeming qualities. Seems to already be living up to everyone's pre signing expectations

October 18, 2025Oct 18 I've been underwhelmed so far but its early days. Hoping we see some improvement over the coming months.
October 18, 2025Oct 18 We seem to have a awful lot of players in this era that we must give time to and be patient with and wait and see if in a couple of years they settle down…

It almost feels too good to be true when players like Palmer and Caicedo immediately hit a level and improved, and you can also see the immediate impact from Estevao. I struggle to think of the last time we gave any player 2-3 years and they suddenly hit new heights, excluding our own academy. Some might say Cucurella from this era, but he was pretty solid towards the end of his first season.

October 19, 2025Oct 19 Pointless signing. It looks like it was made to help Manure, which makes it even worse.

Estevao is a perfect example to use here. He's not world class, not yet, he's a young player that is showing pieces of brilliance and moments where he goes a bit quiet. This is the type of youngster I will be patient with. Lavia, Santos, Guiu, Acheampong, Hato, same thing.Garnacho, Gittens, sorry, but if I am going to be patient with them, then they have to show something that warrants that patience. I've seen nothing so far.

We are not talking about 23-26yo players, but much younger and some even lack the muscle mass for 50/50 disputes in the PL.I don’t really know of too many examples of 20yo dominating in the PL.Palmer is 23 now. At 20, he was u21 player.

October 19, 2025Oct 19 Liverpool loss today's has seen some of our fan base come out and talk about us in terms of the title again. signings like this one show why we are far away from that being a reality.

He’s just one of the few mediocre players the board like to buy because they don’t command high wages. Him, Neto, Gittens, all average players that didn’t improve what we had, but still these clowns decided to over pay for them because they wouldn’t ask for high wages. And that’s why we aren’t taking advantage of these transition seasons and a poor Arsenal or City will win it.Talking about Garnacho, what we’ve seen is his level, he’s not improving to the level we would need to be a proper contender. Better than Neto? Nah, same average quality attacking wise but less effort defensively.

CucurellaCaicedoPalmerThose are the undeniable quality ones.Hato SantosEstevaoLooks good bets to join them.Players like Penders, Lavia, Essugo, Quenda, and that Kazakhstan kid striker who's name escapes me may well well do so too. That leaves the majority at them Mediocre at best level.

October 19, 2025Oct 19 Another in the long list of signings that a lot of fans could see would be pointless but not our genius directors. At this point, they may as well sign players by drawing lots, because whatever they're doing doesn't seem to be working.
