Anyway  it's perhaps useful to consider why we didn't keep him, and whether his skillls developed in Italy will transplant to the EPL.

Yeah, he's looking good, another Turk, they struck gold with Soyuncu, and now this. Leicester has some good scouts, we probably should tap their phones and sign whoever they're after, because I forgot the last time we've got a quality player for a reasonable fee.

With a few days remaining before the window opens the 'Rumours' page seems rather flat.  Apart from the summer when we knew we couldn't sign anyone it all seems rather quiet even in the press it seems are clutching at straws and do not have any solid leads of who we are likely to sign.  Everyone must be sworn to secrecy within the Boardroom....or haven't got a clue.    Well let's hope they get it right whoever they bring in.  Or maybe we are waiting for the summer?

I would find that quite amusing if he left Liverpool so quickly.

Please, not again. I thought his move to Bayern would have put an end to this nonsense.

I'd take Coutinho and get shot of Barkley in the process as it looks like he has fallen out of favour anyway and with RLC coming back I don't see any need for him.  Although we have abundance of midfield talent they can't score and that's where Coutinho fits in IMO. 

We should try to sign Aubameyang. Fantastic player for 1-2years and we can play the 352 or 343 as well as a great replacement for Tammy if he has off days

Coutinho reminds me of Oscar, very hot & cold. Don’t want to see an inconsistent player again. We’ve had it with Oscar and now with Willian.

Auba would be too expensive and I don’t fancy him, especially not at 30. Surely there is better options. Werner for example probably would cost the same, not just in transfer also in wages.

Coutinho is a much better player than Oscar.
