HAHAHA...I wonder how many of you guys n girls will remember all this when he hits form next year and everyone is singing.............................FERNANDO TORRES, CHELSEAs NUMBER 9

We'll remember it when he's s**t again next season!

I dont like him his haircuts offend me as does his bank balance and his inability to talk with a pure bred Cockney accent.

Do you think he gives a f**k though? i very much doubt it.

BUT El Floppo is funny as fook to the point that i want to waste 50+ English pounds and have it put on the back of a shirt.

el floppo is pretty funny, floppes sounds like something you would say to a spanish girl, to describe to the absence of an erection.

And that is something you have experience of, is it, big blue, in spite of your name? :happy001:

Would you say the same thing about 'fat frank' nickname being harmless? I hope you answer No.

Absolutely NOT!!!!

I'd say the 'fat Frank' nickname is harmless.

Agreed, some people are too touchy about things, I'm sure it doesn't hurt Lampards feelings as much as it does some of the people on here.

Fat Frank, is a term used by those

a) Who are jealous

b) Who are in denial at how good he is

c) Who are idiots

d) Who are trolls

Frank isn't fat at all, so the nickname is a pisstake

...and no Chelsea fan should use it, and those rival fans who do should have a spell put on them so that their sexual organs shrivel up.

Nicknames should be a term of endearment i.e 'Rambo' for Ramires 'Bison' for Essien these are nicknames, calling someone 'Floppes' is having a dig at them, it is not a term of endearment. It's a cheap shot and I'd expect our fans to be better than that, perhaps I'm wrong about that.

Does it really matter? If someone wants to call him names, why does it matter?

I dont like people telling other people how to support the team. (im not say you were btw). Everyone supports the team in the way they see fit.

Don't get me wrong Moi, I would never use it, but anger has long since subsided in regards to other people using it.

Because we all know he's just pretty much the greatest person ever.

Careful lads! I feel we are minutes away from a just or davey baby party pooper special telling us all just how bad basle are so his goal and performance don't count. On behalf of everyone with a brain yes we know torres isn't "back" so bore off!

^ I think the shot which went out for a throw-in made that pretty clear. Reasonably good performance otherwise though, he was pressing well and made a couple of great passes, it was good to see him score in such a predatory manner as well. Unfortunately that was the exception rather than the rule in terms of his finishing tonight...

Did well. I don't agree with those who says he isn't trying. He works his arse off IMO, he's just lost the explosivity of his peak days and has subsequently had to adapt his game due to the loss of that dynamism.

He has only one less European goal for us than he did for Liverpool now, which is an amusing stat.

If Terry takes ten penalty kicks a season and slips on nine of them, is he still just unlucky? Or does he need to get his f**king act together and stay on his feet?

Not been in this thread for ages so took a while to reply, but if you give me another 8 chances that are identical to Torres one there where he missed, I'll agree with you, until then, it doesn't really make sense.
