God No! Wouldn’t take him back playing on a free. Hardly works out with an ex; just see Bale at Spurs.

You bring here at the expense of CHO’s growth, when he seems to be feeling part of the squad & showing signs of turning out to be a player we all hope he will. 
 

Not worth the hassle. Madrid will try & get rid of him in the summer (Bale is in the same boat); he should try Serie A, and Bayern do love an ageing talent on the short term.

I feel Hazard has been unlucky,

We had him for the majority of his career and he became our best player for a number of seasons.

He never moaned or complained even when under Sarri he played as centre forward taking a lot of knocks.

I expect he will come back to the club once his playing career is over either as a coach or ambassador for the club. 

 

I honestly can’t believe people are turning their noses up at Hazard.

He was our best player for so many years and I’d take him back instantly. Yeah, he’s not had a great time at Madrid but Jesus it’s hostile over there with the fans and the board.  Madrid doesn’t suit Hazard at all, at least his mentality.

Let’s bring him back and we can manage his minutes carefully. Imagine drawing against Wolves at 70 minutes and Hazard is coming off the bench....

This reminds me exactly of Spurs fans when they revelled in Bale's return, they (and most people in fairness) fell into the trap of rating him on what he was not what he currently is.

Apparently picked up a thigh injury and is expected to spend another month on the sidelines. 

Can't help feeling bad for him but it's looking increasingly that we sold him at just the right time. 

I sometimes wonder about that season under Sarri where he was played as a CF for some games and took a lot of knocks.

I hope he recovers and has at least one decent spell there.

Old Trafford was particularly bad, when Herrera was given free rein to kick him all all the pitch.

You could put a pretty good team down on paper of former players that are still playing (or trying to), that we let go at the right time  in the last 5 or so years ...

Wayne Bridge fell down the leagues pretty quickly after leaving us and not doing much at City. 

Left back could he Ake, Bertrand or van arnholt.

Yes, I thought about Ake ... but ruled him out on grounds that he hasn't declined in performance levels ... my left back is probably on hold until Baba Rahman's contract is up ... 🙂

The best I could come up with a goalkeeper was Eduardo, but then he retired last year, which ruled him out. Courtois is still elite level, so out of scope for the old boys team.

Ambassador probably. He doesn't exactly bleed football like C. Ronaldo to take up the coaching role. I think Eden's the type of person that became a footballer because he had the talent and the family background. Off the field he doesn't carry himself like an athlete hence the weight issues.

Oh yes Delac isn't a bad shout ... or Bulka ... who PSG shipped out on loan to LB Châteauroux in Ligue 2 in January 🙂

Don't really want him back. It was always clear with him that he doesn't really take care of himself the way he's supposed to if he wants to have a long career. 

He was great for us, but he could've been so much more in world football if he had a more hard working mindset. 

Felipe Luis on Eden Hazard. It's pretty hilarious but also quite sad. 

Since Hazard has left Chelsea we've seen many comments from John Obi Mikel, John Terry and now Felipe Luis all confirming that he was a very lazy player who lacked ambition, all while being amazing. To me, this isn't a player who's going to have a long career, he doesn't care about looking after himself.

I'll throw in a different opinion, Hazard could have stayed at Chelsea he didn't need to go to Madrid.

He chose Madrid as he wanted to play with the best and liked Madrid (as opposed to Barca or say Juve).

Unfortunately his injuries have probably spoiled that ambition so will be interesting to see what he does next.

Can't believe how bad it turned out for him, more than 10 injures since he came to Madrid, for me he clearly gave his all for us in the past years and after the World Cup his body just couldn't do it anymore... I also get angry at those on social media that claim that he is injury prone and that Real Madrid was scammed or whatever, he wasn't injury prone at all before, I saw a stat that showed that Eden missed in total just around 20 games for us in 7 seasons.

The reaction from football fans on Twitter is something that gets under my skin. They seem to be angry at Hazard for being injured more than anything else. Do they think he wants to be injured all of the time? I'm sure he would much prefer to be playing football right now and still be considered one of the best players on the planet. Football is a lot worse without players like Hazard on the pitch.

People have quickly forgotten how good Hazard was. He wasn't on Messi or Ronaldo's level, nobody is, but he was easily in the group of players below them. Since Ronaldo left La Liga and Messi's age has started to show, La Liga has been pretty boring to watch. I would watch it if Hazard was fit and playing. He's the type of player all fans love to watch, so those that are saying he is no loss to football are just talking sh*te.

Really hard seeing him struggle. I dont really see a way back for him at Madrid now, I can see him leaving in the summer, most probably on loan, because none is touching those wages with his recent injury record. 

Personally I would like to see him back, if we could strike a favourable long term loan deal with madrid, maybe with some caveats regards to how much wages we cover and how many games he plays. 

Im not expecting the same player that left 2 years ago, but i do think in time, and at a club and league he knows well, he can still be a world class player. I dont see this as a similar case to Bale, as I think Bale has lost motivation over the last 2 or 3 years, due to being left out of squads even when fit. Hazard just loves football, he needs to be back playing with a smile on his face.
