Multiple champions, multiple silverware, .....playing a team who have'nt even got the t-shirt yet. ...Who needs hindsight ?

Goes without saying but I'm obviously chuffed to bits at being proven wrong

You'd like to think he'll start tonight, we need his creativity and composure on the ball and who knows, with any luck he'll spark Diego back in to life with his ability to spot a pass.

I liked his latest interview about Hazard etc, he's a consummate professional and comes across as a really likeable guy for me. I really hope there's a place for him in our side next season.

That's a hell of a stat. It's a difficult situation at the moment, he is incredible of the bench, rips teams apart in the last 30 minutes, but will he be happy as a super sub? I hope so.

Really hope we keep him. Even if he's not starting every week, he's a fantastic player to have available.

Like Willian I hope he stays until next summer at least, with CL next season you'd think they'd both be guaranteed to get more gametime  (not to mention the experience Lewis Baker will gain if he returns?)

I think he'll stay, we have CL next year so we have more games to think about. We need a squad, as usual though the lazy ass media like to claim players are leaving. They never think about anything other than the first team with there lazy journalism.

Would walk into any other premier league team and the majority in Europe. 10 league starts is not enough for a player of his class, the worst thing we can do is sell him to a premiership rival though as he will only improve them.

So the rags are syaing he could be off to Utd or Liverpool, its nothing but clickbait anyway but it does make you laugh

The figure of £25m made me chuckle though

If he stays, i can see him getting more game time next season, especially with Champions League football to play.

I hope we do everything we can to keep him. 7 goals and 13 assists in all competitions as a squad player......name another squad player who can do that ? I think he has more assists than any other player in the squad, and 50% of his appearances this season have come from the bench.

The guy is the best passer on the ball in the league and most intelligent too. He doesn't need to see where players are to play a pass, he just knows where the ball needs to be played. We need to find a way to use him. Selling him to a rival would be a terrible move.

I actually think the role he now plays for us suits his game. He has never been the best athlete and even in his younger days tended to fade come February, picking up niggly injuries. As it is he now comes on fresh in the final third of games and able to make the difference. Football is now very much a 14 man game with each player within the squad having key roles.

I would love Fabregas to stay as I rate him as the best in the league at what he does and I'm a massive fan. At the same time I understand if he leaves because under Conte his name isnt first on the teamsheet and when Chelsea do play in the Champions league selecting him for home to Anderlect is one thing but would he get picked for the big games in the knockout stages? I doubt it.

Matic is undroppable, plays sh*t he still gets picked,  Fabregas can play two games of his life in a row and he will still get dropped. I actually think Fabregas would be better suited for how Chelsea set up with how calm he is on the ball plus with 5 defender's and Kante there is plenty of defensive cover. Just my view though.

Problem is Fabregas deserves more than squad player and he knows that.

I hope he stayes, he has proven that we need a creative option in central midfield in several games this season. The only replacements I can think of that could do a better job in that position are Verratti and Isco.

I hope he stays too. He's a phenomenally talented player who offers something noone does, but it is clear he lacks the pace and mobility needed to be an automatic starter. His attitude has been fantastic this season so I hope he appreciates how valuable he is to the club, but it would come as no surprise if he is tempted away this summer.

To lose him, Costa, JT and Hazard this summer (not unrealistic, sadly) would be a disaster.

Hazard won't leave this Summer, Costa I think is as good as gone though.

I just hope Conte can convince Fabregas to stay on cause we need a bigger and better squad for next season, we can't repeat the mistakes we made in the Summers leading into the 10-11 and 15-16 seasons,

I think the regular first 11 this year understand that they will have less game time next year as we will be fighting on 4 fronts.  From a career wise I really don't see the point of him going elsewhere....I mean unless he goes abroad where else in the EPL would he rather be?  It's an exciting time at the Bridge, we have a great manager, hopefully strengthen the squad with world class players at the end of the season.  Hopefully management can keep him here for another season or two.
