November 23, 20169 yr Moses did okay in his 1st season, but i dont think you can really argue with him being sent out on loan when he would have been competing with mata, oscar, hazard, kdb, willian, and schurrle for minutes. He was terrible for liverpool, and i can see why he was loaned out again the following season, as he was looking like 6th in pecking order. He did better at stoke, but we won the title, so how many people thought he was seriously good enough to play for the best team in the country the following season? He wasnt great for west ham last year, wasnt helped by injuries, but as a result of how terrible we were, he got a chance under a new manager and he has took it. Credit to him, credit to conte. There shouldn't be blame for loaning him out, maybe you can put a little blame on the signings of willian and schurrle, that effectively forced him out on loan, but we should just be thankful we didnt sell him, because we wouldn't have been able to see him excel the way he has this season.
November 23, 20169 yr Suddenly everyone on the forum seen how amazing Moses was when he was here before and failing on all these loan spells... right ok. He was a bang average winger & was having pretty average to say the least loan spells, he didn't exactly tear it up. he done well in pre season, but he was in no way better than what we had at that point in time. He's been terrific since we changed formation and he went in at RWB, but if you're saying you seen that coming... I think you're a liar. As for the usual Jose abusing bandwagon, are you even Chelsea fans? The most successful manager in our history, it's cringeworthy.Well I saw it coming! I knew he has the quality to be an important player for us. Go to the Pedro thread and see the debate about Pedro, Cuadrado and Moses if you doubt the fact that nobody saw it coming. I argued Conte will rather get rid of both Pedro and Cuadrado to keep Moses!

His imbecilic flock of sheep wrote him off and didn't even want him in the squad. Decent, proper Chelsea fans felt he deserved a chance to at least prove himself. That chance has arrived (thanks to a proper manager and not a chequebook wielding asset stripper), and he's taken it. I do remember Jose saying that Moses could make the First team. I couldn't find the quote are the article (because I want to watch DragonBall Super before I goto work), but I did find something for you to think about. I know many people want to bash on Jose, but he was Special with CFC. Yes, he made mistakes. He is human after all but to call him the things this poster did is just not right. I couldn't turn a blind eye to this crap. Edited November 23, 20169 yr by robdog

So you forseen the change to a 3-4-3 and you seen Moses slotted in at RWB as a nailed on starter? Sorry fella I'm not having that. if you wanted him in at RW fair enough, but I guarantee you were in the minority and the only reason you wanted that is that you take a scattergun approach to backing African players at Chelsea whether they're good enough or not. so I'd say it was more pot luck than anything else, I'm not having a go at you for doing that by the way. I'm sure if we had a Scottish player I'd back them too even if they were average but unfortunately we don't even make average players!
November 24, 20169 yr Of course you did; you're Nigerian. Wow! So why did I not predict Ola Aina or Omeruo to be in the first team?
November 24, 20169 yr Of course you did; you're Nigerian. And John Stakes is probably a Nigerian then [emoji3]
November 24, 20169 yr Moses was average before the switch in formation. You don't go from loan to loan with no one willing to take a chance on you if you were showing the kind of promise he was done this season. He impressed because of his energy and determination in those pre season games, however he didn't have the quality to get a spot over the likes of Willian who is a far superior winger to Moses. That's the long and short of it. Folk will proclaim they knew this was on the cards but we all know that's just pie in the sky stuff, not one of us saw a change to formation with Moses taking over as a wing back. It's great to see him flourish but I don't get why people try to make stuff up.
November 24, 20169 yr So you forseen the change to a 3-4-3 and you seen Moses slotted in at RWB as a nailed on starter? I'm sure if we had a Scottish player I'd back them too even if they were average but unfortunately we don't even make average players!Lol, I never said I foresaw us playing 3-4-3. The reason why I was confident Moses will be an important player for us was because of the things I heard about Conte's personality. Unlike José, Conte won't look at your name before choosing you to play for him. He looks at your commitment regardless of your age. So I know with these alone Conte will be impressed with Moses over both Cuadrado and Pedro. He is that sort of manager that will work in and give everybody a fair chance so its f**king obvious to even a baby that with Moses giving his best in every season and José paying no attention to him probably because we signed him for just 10m pounds, the time has eventually come for him to prove Jose wrong. So even in preseason when we weren't playing 3-4-3 its obvious Conte will never allow Moses to go out on loan. And even in the beginning of the season he was always the first player Conte brings on from the bench which shows its only a matter of time before Moses become a starter though we were not playing 3-4-3 then! How can somebody tell me he didn't see it coming?

November 24, 20169 yr Conte wanted to keep Cuardrado, he said this several times. Also Pedro is a nailed on starter under Conte so that doesn't make sense either. What proved Pedro is a nailed on starter for Conte because from the beginning of the season Conte picked Hazard and Willian repeatedly and if not because of the Willian incident, Willian certainly will still be playing ahead of Pedro as we can't just change a winning team?

Pedro is in the team because he deserves to be and because he has done better than Willian since the start of the season. If there was a better option at RW Pedro would clearly not be playing

If there was a better option at RW Pedro would clearly not be playing Well Pedro being a nailed on starter over Willian? On current form I will also pick Pedro over Willian but it was obvious from the beginning of the season prior to Willian losing his mum that Conte prefers Willian over Pedro. Pedro is playing over Willian and doing fine but based on there performance last season, I never saw it coming!

November 25, 20169 yr I saw this speculation linking him to Barcelona coming simply because of the way he plays pace power skill someone who could replace dani

Three games in it was not 'obvious' though, because it was after three games, Conte was still finding his preferred XI. Moses is great, i'm delighted he's doing well, but if we weren't playing 3-4-3 he wouldn't be starting.

November 26, 20169 yr Can't see him going Barca, no way would they buy a player who is a threat to Messi's place in the team.
November 27, 20169 yr updated moses power ranking 1. victor moses 2. bible moses 3. mooses (a moose on my local zoo)
November 27, 20169 yr He is doing really well but would he even be playing in this poison if Cuadrado was still here?.
November 27, 20169 yr Another good performance, another goal. So pleased for him. Who would have thought at the start of the season that he would one, be in the starting lineup and two, having his name chanted by everyone.
