Cesc can do the creative work of 2 players along and with the likes of hazard, we are quite good in the creative aspect, what we need with cesc in the team, is defensive cover. and thats exactly what the line up would give you.

He is essentially Ramires 2.0. Has a tremendous engine. I would be ok to replace Matic with him, not pair them together

Kante is nothing like Ramires. He's a far better tackler than Ramires, tracks back better, position's himself better, passes better ( Ramires is one of the worst passers of the ball i have seen at the club ), doesn't make stupid tackles and is stronger. Kante is far better than Ramires.

That is why i said 2.0. He is a better passser but that is hardly his strength. Personally i think a midfield of Matic and Kante would struggle to create anything, even with Cesc in it.

Matic was disgusting last season, he mailed it in as much as anyone.

 

I was fine with allowing a legend like Cech choose his next destination. Matic has earned nothing of the sort.

 

I'll not lose sleep if he leaves but he can go abroad if he wishes to do it if it were up to me.

i though Jose was picking him week in week out? even though he was shi*t he still started regularly. it was under Hiddink that he gradually demoted to the bench
