It's obvious what he meant there though. Not exactly a 'the side who scores more goals will win' kind of none statement.

No way he really said that? :laugh2:

The most hilarious thing I've ever heard him say was when David Moyes just got sacked and Jamie Redknapp said ""Ryan Giggs has only had 2 or 3 days to work with these players" :laugh2:

This is a player who was playing for the club for 20 years, how that guy gets paid for his opinions about football is beyond me, absolutely clueless.

^ 18 goals in all competitions and we're almost at the level, in recent weeks, of assuming he'll score every game. Also, he's forced himself into the first choice team of Poch who it seems doesn't like English players (which is v sad).

Yeah, I see what you mean. The 'they will' refers to the first part of the statement (will we qualify) while the second bit aims to address specifically whether or not it will be easy, and he clarifies that it will not. A bit broken up and not the best way to phrase it but I think we hear worse very often.

I would much rather your team get 4th Spud, I backed you for 4th before the season started but despite giving us a thumping I still don't think you have what it takes from what I've seen. I don't think you'll beat Arsenal to it, or United for that matter.

You've got tonnes of quality but you seem to drop so many silly points.

if palace hold on to this, I look forward to all those Tottenham numpties from the other week coming on here to talk about it

Yes, me too.

Doesn't like English players? Rose, Walker, Mason and Kane are all starters, Townsend getting playing time nowadays aswell.

Spurs 2 1 down. Happy days (sorry spud). Wanting Spurs to win is just not right, if I did that I would have to wash 65 times but would still feel dirty.

I blame myself for bigging up Kane a few posts ago. I tempted fate. Bollocks...:-(

P.s. I wish people would stop apologising when we lose - I don't expect that on a CFC site and am not offended when we get slagged off :-)

Kane's goal was so offside !

True, I know the 2 for Palace counted. :JC_doubleup:

what a lovely swift kick to the testicles :)

I had a nine accumulator on the premiership games and got them all right bar the Everton City game and when Spurs went 0-1 up I said to the missus looks like only the city game let me down for £1560...I was happy with that, then Palace turned it around and I only got seven right so even easier to take.

I also had Kane to score first and the Spuds to win, never count on a spud thats what I say not unless its one ulike anyway  .
