December 15, 201411 yr That is spot on! Who was the lad that used to do Gerrard impressions, while in an off licence? Is it not the same fella
December 16, 201411 yr Brendan Rodgers quote from today's press conference ahead of Bournemouth Capital One Cup game.. "The aim is to go on and win the competition. This is the first cup competition you can see in the season so, for me, it was always a priority." Just goes to show you the dizzy heights and expectations he and Liverpool had this year.....twat/
December 16, 201411 yr Surely going to the next round of the Champions league is the first thing you can do in a season.
December 16, 201411 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30496281 uh oh Why did the Beeb post that under the title "breaking news"? And it ends with the words: "more to follow". Oh I can't wait to hear what's next. This is fascinating.
December 16, 201411 yr That is spot on! Who was the lad that used to do Gerrard impressions, while in an off licence? I think it is the same lad, Darren Farley. Got known doing Rafa, Carra and Gerrard impressions.
December 18, 201411 yr RODGERS THINKS LIVERPOOL PLAY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP Shock news after last night's match, Brendan let slip that he believes Liverpool play in the Championship “This was a tough game against a team who are top of the league, so for us to dominate as we did was very pleasing. It’s taken a long time for us to find rhythm this season but the work rate has never stopped. It takes character and quality to get through at places like this, but that first goal was a wonderful example of patience, movement and creativity. We showed outstanding quality on the ball, we waited for the moment and then we seized the chance.” No wonder he's nonplussed when he walks out at Anfield and finds a Premier League side on the pitch; probably wonders why the Liverpool coach driver keeps taking them to the wrong ground. Plonker.
December 19, 201411 yr Is he seriously still saying these words? Character in every f**king sentence? I just thought the people in here were exaggerating, bloody hell what a tit, could be more irritating.
December 19, 201411 yr Author He has a list of buzz words that he feels he must hit to reassure himself that he knows what he is doing. Edited December 19, 201411 yr by Zola
December 19, 201411 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30516598 Liverpool's signings under Rodgers, hit or miss. Sturridge and Coutinho are hits as expected. Kolo Toure is surprisingly a hit, though he was free and has been alright lately. Moreno was a hit too despite his defensive mistakes this season, though I do think he's a decent full back offensively. That's it, out of 24 signings. Over £200m spent and only around £30m justified. Shocking transfer policy. The trouble is he's bought so many "alright" players costing around £5-20m hoping that a few of them will turn good. It's too expensive and not working. Needs to be far more astute.
December 19, 201411 yr I agree RichardCFC. Toure is doing well but, shock of shocks, he's not played by Rodgers as often as he should be. I don't think Rodgers knows who is playing well.
