Lots of speculation in that article.

Believe it when I see it but end of the day Jose is boss and he needs to have faith and confidence in all members of support staff.

If he's not happy with any member of his staff then he is well within his rights to change things.

Jose is a great manager, he will always be one of the games greatest, but he needs to start watching what he says in interviews and press conferences.

I think his comments toward the medical team were unprofessional and should have been dealt with in a different way.

The doctors team is there to ensure that the players are treated in a timely manner.

His comments deflect away from the fact that Swansea played a very good game, due to a defensive mistake we got a red card and awarded a penalty, and on top of that Brana was unable to stop any type of attack on the right.

Love Mourinho for helping us win titles but would prefer if he didn't talk before or after games.

Hopefully the case here is that a football writer is putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. That said, his article was oddly specific for an invention, but his previous articles (although he does seem to write about Chelsea a lot) don't give the impression that he has any kind of insider info.

If true, this is surely an awful decision. The medical team have been excellent under Eva and our endurance last season with so few players is probably her greatest feat, let's not forget the fact that Torres missed a handful of games a season at Chelsea, whereas at Liverpool he was injured more or less half the time, and of course the miracle of bringing Cahill and Luiz back to match fitness for the CL final in light of Terry and Ivanovic being suspended. I'm not entirely sure why Mourinho has publicly snapped at the medical team, if this is an elaborate smokescreen so people stop writing "Chelsea are a bit sh*t at the moment" stories, it seems poorly-conceived.

In addition, this will only add to the rumblings of trouble behind the scenes at The Bridge...

If true, I think Jose has taken out his frustrations on the wrong person.

Swansea were easily holding their own against us & Jose's frustrations boiled over.

Jose needs to look closer to home for the reasons why ...

Because he's a petulant prick. Great manager, but acts like a child when things aren't going his way.

How the medical department is structured is up to Jose... for what it's worth I think he has a fair point... but his reaction on the pitch and post-Swansea outburst was uncalled for... hope to see an apology at the next press conference.

Horrible guy he is, must hate us, winning silverware must just be a distraction to keep Mikel into his 40's

independent running with it too.

mourinho's cracking up.

I wouldn't put any more faith in the Independent's football "journalists" than the hacks writing for the Sun, Star, Metro or any other rag.

The video in question, described by Metro as Shock Footage, shows a narrow angle clip of Eva running onto the pitch, followed shortly by Jose displaying his anger, in the same manner we've seen him do any number of times, usually provoked by a refereeing decision with which he strongly disagrees.

In the absense (as yet) of any wider angle footage, my guess is that this is exactly what happened. Eden gets hacked and the referee fails to take sufficient action for Mourinho's liking. If I'm mistaken, then so be it, but in the meantime I'm certainly not going to jump to any "Mourinho's losing it" type conclusions based on what is a clearly inconclusive bit of footage.

Jose has seemed a bit odd for a while, instead of his old mischievous ways with the media that always made him look one step ahead, he is sometimes starting to look like a bad sport and an excuse maker, I hope this doesn't last as it really doesn't suit him.

I would much rather see him just congratulate the other team and get on with getting the players up for the next game, his excuses will give them excuses and that

won't lead to more effort on their part.

Not sure what's going on in his head, signing a new contract should send a message out that he's happy with the way everything's going here but the transfer business (or lack of) and the outbursts send a different message.

I really hope we get a good result against City if not I can imagine we'll be hearing that we are only small Horses again as if the lack of strengthening has been out of his hands (which it well might have been).

I'm not basing it on that at all. It was a flippant throwaway sarcastic comment about this f**king media hype that is being drawn up around eva and jose.

Jose came out and slated his medical department in the press. Did you hear the interview?

Now two reputable sources are saying that there is a medical shake-up in the backroom staff and that Eva will no longer be attending matches.

While my comment above was tongue in cheek, there are evidently pressures behind the scenes at chelsea. This has nothing to do with some vine clip. this is based on Jose's comments stating that he was f**ked off with them coming on the pitch while down to 10 men. If you havent seen or heard his post match interview, google it, its everywhere.

Jose/Chelsea is completely out of line here. If Eden wasn't whining on the pitch as much for minor pains and discomforts Eva didn't have to enter the pitch to look into his "injury".

This is would barely have been mentioned if Eva was a bloke called Keith. Mourinho is wrong to have called put his medical team in public, but my God this has been blown up.

Sounds like most of posters in here on a match day thread.. Except for the great manager bit
