Some on here are saying that getting rid of players x, y and z is not the answer. As someone in the pro-Jose anti-players camp I disagree with that, however I would be happy to settle for a couple of this squad getting shown the door in January.

 

Diego Costa tops that list. His overall play and antics this season have, quite frankly, been an embarrassment to our club.

Costa may as well hold up a big placard during our next game, saying, "Look folks, it's not my fault we're losing games, it's theirs!".

They are bound to make the opposition defenders work Harder than they are currently.

It's almost as though José has set out this blueprint of 4231/433 for his 'project' and is scared to deviate from it, except when trying to defend mid-game (chuck on extra CM/CB) or kitchen sink (343/352).

He needs to go back to the drawing board and rethink whatever idea he had to begin with. It won the title last season, but it hasn't worked at all this time around.

If we believe the media bashing that he's one of the players in the 'Jose out' camp, I don't understand why Jose kept picking him. He's more interested in fighting and arguing than scoring goals, should try a different sport. Remy is not perfect, but I rather watching him miss chances than Costa arguing with defenders.

I thought he looked completely baffled at the reaction to his substitution yesterday, and it made me wonder if he's even aware that he's being blamed for Jose's dismissal by an unthinking, tabloid-reading section of our support. I know it's the silly season but I'd hate to see this club descend into pantomime territory.

I honestly wouldn't be sad, he's such a frustrating person on the pitch. For me I really changed my mind on him after that Arsenal game, I know there players weren't innocent but the way he acted., he was looking for a fight that day and he was lucky he didn't see red. He's a liability, people can point to his lack of red cards but he still manages to pick up bans despite that. I wouldn't have a clue who to replace him with but we need someone who is a strong character like Diego but doesn't lose their head.

I'd like to see him under someone else at Chelsea, just would be interesting.

That's not nice, as bad as the press calling him a criminal.

He'll be gone soon. Can't say I particularly care if I'm honest. I never wanted him in the first place. Was pleasantly surprised by his goals in the first 6 months last season, but since then they've dried up and he's just become a liability, looking for a fight in every game.

bring bamford back and start falcao. falcao needs a few runs in the team and playing attacking football could help him regain some goal scoring form. never been that taken back by costa and nothing he does impresses me in the same way the likes of suarez (at liverpool and barca), sturridge, aguero, drogba, lewandowski etc. there are easily about 10 other strikers out there whom impress me more.

bit harsh. i think he needs a chance. jose gave him almost 0 opportunity, even though he believed he could bring the best our of him. also, the chances being created this season by the team as a whole has been pathetic, so can't just dismiss him as shot yet. he's still a squad member and if he doesn't leave in jan, he needs more chances. talk of remy possibly being loaned to swansea so it would make sense to give him more of a go.

United were sh*te and didn't suit his style. Yes he has been injured but the guy was class and deserves a decent run in the team imo.
