I cant actually remember the last bad game he had. Even in that liverpool game, i thought he was very very good before he bear hugged mane to the floor. Im not sure why he gets the amount of hate he does on here. Our other defenders make big errors that cost us games. Put him and thiago in defence with mendy in goal and i think we will thrive. Look how good zouma looks when with them two.

I agree on that Liverpool game too, It was disappointing as until then he looked good.

He seems good on bringing the ball forward when we are being closed down too.

Keep this guy out the team and we have defenders who can recover from sloppy mistakes, score from corners and actually keep clean sheets.

I’ve said this since last season. If he stays away from our squad we will be in a far better position to defend. An absolutely abysmal defender and we should cash in.

Quietly good game against Sevilla in what his first with Mendy behind him.

Given Zouma and Rudiger's vast improvements since Eduoard's introduction AC also deserves a fair shot to see if he can similarly grow with the stability we now have.

Feels like we’ve been here a million times before though, one or two decent games followed by a few f**k ups.

I do agree, a good game. But like Munkworth said, we've been here before.

Right now, I would just stick with Zouma-Silva, no need to change that setup unless we absolutely need to. Defenders shouldn't be rotated a lot anyway.

CAN THE CLUB PLEASE MOVE HIM ON NEXT MONTH TO ARSENAL, ON A KNOCK DOWN FEE PLEASE ?

no bottle, no mettle, no grit, no heart I could go on , glad if I never see him put on that shirt again cus today wasn’t the first time , oh no not by any means, weak feeble defender hence my Arsenal recommendation he would work out good for them I think

Cant really blame the guy. He's been here for ages, not really producing but he's still being picked and played. He's last good games where he actually looked like a decent cb were in late 2017.He broke down after that mistake against Barcelona and never looked at god enough level since.

There's a player in there but he's just too soft. What did it take him some 2-3 years to get over the Barca game? He must have missed Brana's blood soaked boot in the academy museum.

It was a foul on him, but he has to get up if the whistle isn't blown. I don't believe for a second he was so hurt that he needed to stay down for a couple of minutes. Somebody else's leg hitting you in the shin at that pace shouldn't be enough to have any grown adult crumble in pain like that, especially if you're an athlete that plays CB in football. If that really was enough to make him crumble like that, then he really isn't cut out to be a CB.

Both Grealish and Christensen were play acting to be honest (hence Grealish magically feeling ok once the ball falls to him) but 9 times out of 10 that is given as a foul.

Absolutely no way he should of been on the floor for that long from that!

He didn’t even try and get up despite the danger occurring at that moment.

Someone with a pain threshold that low shouldn’t even be playing in the Premier League.

I agree, they were both playing acting, and Christensen continued to play act which resulted in us conceding a goal. The others maybe could have done more to prevent the goal, but it wouldn't have needed to happen at all if Christensen just got up and tried to get back into position.

And tonight. That’s just from this year alone, despite the lockdown and all that. How many games has he played? Down injured for two goals and stupid wrestling for red card. A liability.

I will fault Christensen for staying down, I'm not going to fault him for the goal.

It's not the first time they would have had to defend with 10 men and it won't be the last.

Christensen does seem to be a jinx whenever he plays. It has happened too often. Today, he hardly put a foot wrong and did pretty well bar that one mistake and that mistake that cost us - AGAIN. But we all know that applies for all our CB's bar Silva.

It's a recurring theme isn't it? Not actually too bad, other than during the one moment which cost us the points (usually by being a huge fanny).

Tomori is surely going out on loan in January? I feel like a broken record but I don't understand why he is below Christensen in the centre back pecking order.

Christensen starts a game.

Christensen commits a mistake.

Christensen on the floor

Christensen did ok tonight generally. He does though have one big achilles heal, soft as sh*t . Why is he staying down when he clearly wasn't injured, he should be up and helping getting our defence into shape. The time has come to call time on his career here.

The only footballing reason I can think of is that Tomori is an inch or 2 shorter than the rest and doesn't have ready made world class ability like Silva to make up for it. Maybe Christensen can be viewed as more experienced as well but surely Lamps has seen enough by now.

I don't know whether I'm being harsh by blame this sorry ass player for the goal but he has built such a reputation for being weak that its no surprised he was laying on the ground in pain like a flimsy winger and not a cb who can take physicality! He's an absolute liability whenever he plays. Tomori would be no worse and a much better gamble with a higher chance of reward.
