Holy sh*t, I was just about to post about why I wasn't getting my hopes about this happening and then Chelsea have only gone and confirmed it.

Was depressed when I thought we were signing Rom. Now I am a happy Blue. Belotti was my top target but love Morata and always have. The first time I saw him play for Juve I posted, elsewhere, to say that I couldn't believe Real had let him go. Of course we didn't know about the buy-back then.

Chelsea confirming it early is unusual, they usually wait untill everything is in 100%in order

Half decent trophy cabinet for someone so young: 2x Serie A, 2x La Liga, 2x Champions League, 2x Copa del Rey, 2x Coppa Italia, 1x CWC.

Of all the players we've been properly linked with, he was the one I wanted the most (other than Sanchez).

Well who would have thought that. Morata for Pete sake, so United got our target and we got theirs. Or how things can be different from what the papers suggest.

we wouldn't publish that if we weren't 100% sure. We don't usually announce fee agreements like this so I'm inclined to think it's all agreed.

So, we have basically exchanged Oscar and Bamford for Morata. Let that sink in for a minute

fantastic news. Just in time for preseason too. We are a couple of signings away from a very good window now.

Arent we all a bit glad that our board ended up choosing to spent the money on Moratta instead of Lukaku ?  Not that i am extremely anti Lukaku but it seems like we have a promising striker who our manager wanted and who has a higher ceiling that Lukaku and will better fit our system. If only Costa becomes a Mr NiceGuy and we can have both of them playing in tandem.

We have Baba for LWB, Pasalic can do a job at CM, but definitely need a RWB

I have watched both Manchester United friendlies, and I have not been impressed at all with Lakaku. Seems slow, however that might change as he gets used to mous tactics. I hope he doesn't so I can have a field day in redcafe with their meltdowns
