We have a striker who has scored 3 in 4, and 2 assists....     Some of you are right, he really does need to get his act together, quite obviously we have bought a complete pony :face_palm:

If the FA want to start banning Chelsea fans then they need to start banning none Jewish Tottenham fans that use the word. They have as much right as us. All or nothing FA, stamp down on the word everywhere or not at all.

Or they could have banned Spuds for racist and homophobic chants from last season, unfortunately its only wrong when Chelsea fans do it.

Unfortunately 'they', also known as Chelsea Football Club, can only ban Chelsea fans from attending Chelsea matches. We cannot ban Spurs fans from attending Spurs matches.

We'll probably ban a couple of people as a PR exercise and then soon enough it will be yesterday's news. Tough sh*t for the knuckleheads unlucky enough to get banned. Should have known better.

Think he's on about the FA, not the club, as they're 'looking into the matter'.

Their dinner and champagne fund is a bit low after the summer, I imagine they were just sniffing about to see if there was anyway they could boost their expense/bonus kitty but unfortunately for them they couldn't reprimand Chelsea without it being the fault of the Leicester stewards.

Took me a number of years until I knew y*d was an offensive term. Just thought it was a nickname for Tottenham fans.

Fans wont sing the song again, no one will get banned. We barely sing the y*ddo part of the "barcelona, real madrid tottenham are a load of" any more.

to be honest its double standards from the media, hitting on chelsea again, just copied and pasted this from tomorrows Daily fail...

"Their fans identify as the 'y*d Army' to such an extent that in June 2014, the Metropolitan Police announced that use of the word 'y*d' in chants at White Hart Lane would no longer be considered an offence worthy of arrest. One presumes the same now applies during Tottenham games at Wembley.

And now it gets interesting, for at Chelsea, the fans have a new song in honour of their striker Alvaro Morata. 'He came from Real Madrid,' they sing, 'he hates the f****** y*ds...'

Unsurprisingly, not everybody is comfortable with this, not least Chelsea and Morata. The club are threatening to use CCTV evidence to impose bans on those chanting the offensive song, and say they will show zero tolerance to offenders and support criminal prosecutions.

Morata has issued a statement calling on Chelsea's fans to 'respect everyone'. The FA has confirmed it will open an investigation.

Yet into what, exactly? Chelsea are admirably insistent there is no grey area here, but that isn't quite true. Football has allowed the word 'y*d' to develop duality"...

They have to do something to deflect and take some sting out of criticisms on Liverpool and Utd after all.

It's not football causing the confusion. The Metropolitan Police have announced they will allow chants of the word "y*d" at White Hart Lane. The Police need to be in line with the FA about this. I think the Police are just taking the easy option here. How the hell can a word be offensive if spoken by one person and perfectly inoffensive if spoken by another?

Having said that all Chelsea fans should refrain from using the word until this is cleared up.

And Tottenham calling us Chelsea rent boys.

Also I suppose we should also also stop calling Liverpool fans scousers. That’s a really offensive term in my house!

Stop it.

Lol the thing is didn't Costa score about 3 headed goals in his Chelsea career? He never got on the end of anything. I can't tell you how many times Alonso, Hazard & Moses whipped in amazing balls on the byline and Costa was never on the end of one of them. I am absolutely relieved Morata is getting on the end of crosses.

@RIP Mourinho   Some nice touches, needs to work on his end product and upper body strength as he goes to ground quite easily. A lot of pressure on his young shoulders to deliver the goals as the main man. This year could be a very steep learning curve for him which will only improve his fine skill set.

Drifted in and out the game yesterday but signs were promising for me. Looked more assured and capable with the ball on the floor. Probably still needs to realize he will not get as much time as he wants on the ball but still think ti was a step in the right direction.
