He strikes me as someone that would do just that. I really like what I've seen of Kante. No fuss never argues with the ref just gets on with being the best he can. Looks to be a very humble person. Very rare in the world he operates in.

How many times are they gonna give Alli Young POY? Silly to give it to him twice in a row. Hopefully he'll make it a hattrick next April unless there's an age cutoff I'm not aware of.

Should have gone to Sessegnon at Fulham, THAT is young.

Nobody playing outside the Premier League is going to win it, and they shouldn't either. These awards should go to players playing in the top league. I'm fine with Dele Alli winning, he has only just turned 21 after all and has scored 20 goals this season, 16 in the Premier League. He may be a Spud, but scoring 20 goals as midfielder at his age is pretty damn good. The only midfielder doing this on a regular basis was Lampard and he didn't start doing it until his mid 20's.

I do think that 21 should be the cut off point though. Harry Kane ( 23 ) Lukaku ( 23 ) Jordan Pickford ( 23 ) and Michael Keane ( 24 ) should have been nowhere near that award.

Exactly, I often think some people just won't let themselves rate a player or say they deserve an award because they play for a team they hate. It's like when people were sure Kane would be a one season wonder. It was obvious that wasn't going to be the case but because he played for Spurs people were saying that. If Alli and Kane played for us many of those same supporters would be creaming all over them.

People in the UK are classed as young people until 25,I imagine the PFA must go down similar guidelines.

Yeah but people in the UK's careers last until 70 (double a footballers career) so if a young person in football is 25 does that mean 50 should be considered a young person in the UK?

Couple years ago a band won 'best newcomer' for their 3rd album. Awards categories are very... flexible.

Typical Arsenal fans, after a lucky win ( how the f* the linesmen could call that cross out of bound was beyond me), it's Wenger in and we are gong to win the 4th spot Cup and FA cup. I can't wait for our team to f* them up in the final, and I know we will. Arsenal fan TV is drooling all over the 343, troopz is busting his mommy's butt by calling our players out.

Arsenal won't be able to get close to us if they try to match us in a 343.

Cech isn't on Courtois level any more

Gabriel/Kos/Holding is a laughable comparison to Azpi/Luiz/Cahill

Oxlade has played well but Monreal is poor, both will be stretched and exposed by Alonso/Vic.

Xhaka/Ramsey or Kante/any other Chelsea player. Lol. Need i say anymore.

Ozil and Sanchez or Hazard and Pedro. I'd say Sanchez is the only comparable player in the Arsenal squad and would take him over Pedro, Hazard is a game changer though and far superior to Ozil.

Giroud or Costa. Giroud is nothing more than an impact sub, however Costa is sh*te at the moment. If both are on form Costa wins every day.

Can't see anything but a chelsea win come May 27th.

An odd season from City. You have the players, but something is just not quite working...

Next season massive massive pressure on Pep, Jose, Poch and Klopp to get major silverware. I won't include Wenger in that list because he's just permanently under pressure, and if Arse bring in a new manager he will have one season in honeymoon mode like Pep and Jose did this season.

Conte will also be under pressure to keep us ahead of the pack, whilst also having to fight on the European front.

Can't wait.

Don't think the pressure applies to Klopp he'll probably applaud his fans after a fighting draw at home against Brighton and do one of his memorable leaps after a goal and all will be forgiven.

few rumours that kyle walker has held talks with pochettino about his future. there's interest from bayern munich accoring to bild and kicker. he is a really good right back, think bayern would be an interesting destination for him with lahm coming to the end of his career. about time more english players moved abroad. alli and kane should f**k off too
