February 10, 20188 yr It's a good loan move for his development, people are lamenting not keeping him but do you remember how ineffective he was for us? If he stayed he will still be on the bench with Hazard as a 9. Not only is it building up his value, but also his confidence, if he keeps doing well we can see a better picture of his potential and help us decide whether to keep him or not.

February 10, 20188 yr Batshuayi will do well there. He's very good when he is facing towards goal. He's basically just doing the same thing Aubameyang did. I'm expecting a big offer from Dortmund if he keeps scoring.

February 10, 20188 yr Good on him. He's such a likeable guy, I'm glad he is doing well, particularly in a World Cup year. That said whoever our manager is next year, Michy has to learn to hold the ball up and contribute outside the 6 yard box. There isn't a lot of room at big English clubs if you can't play that role. The league is too tough to carry a player for 89 minutes for his goal scoring.
February 10, 20188 yr Just maybe they get the ball into him a tad quicker, than our 1000 passes to nowhere...

Lukaku is very overrated, definitely not worth the price tag however he's still a goal machine. He would score goals anywhere he goes so I don't think it's a case of him not being good enough, he just isn't worth the price United paid for him. Lukaku has been on bad form but still has a good goal record.
February 12, 20188 yr I read in an article that he looks happier having the balled played into him facing goal, well theres a fecking shock for goalscorers everywhere!

February 15, 20188 yr We all knew he would score goals if the manager put faith in him and played to his strengths
February 15, 20188 yr Man can't hold up the ball some say... Can't play as the focal point some say... amazing what a bit of confidence coming from 270 minutes of football can do...
