Thierry Henry said something about Batshuayi being more instinctive and quicker to react inside the box then Lukaku.

 

No matter what happens with him next season, I will never forget that goal.

Could be the making of him........unlikely, but you never know. I think he will start the next two games, it would be interesting to see how well he can perform. If he can perform well and get a few goals, i wonder if it will get Conte thinking.

He's a f* cult hero even if he's leaving next season. It hasn't been easy for him this season, but every cameo he got he went all in. I'm sure he will get his full league debut next game, and maybe he does have a future with us after tonight.

He's had a tough season with the lack of opportunities, but that goal will never be forgotten by the supporters and something he will cherish forever!

Delighted for the lad.

Despite the lack of game time he got an assist for Diego's late goal against West Ham beginning of the season, then few days later he scored a goal in the 2 - 1 win against Watford.

And then he clinches the premier league title for us!!! He's had a really positive impact on our season even though he hasn't played much. Keep him!

Fingers crossed Michy gets a start tonight, the lad deserves it

Really respect and enjoy seeing his attitude.

For a £33m player to come and spend the amount of time he had on the bench, you'd presume a modern day footballer would kick up a fuss and push through a transfer. He has been the opposite. Tried to grasp every opportunity he's been given, I thought he played well in the Semi at Wembley against Spurs and his positional awareness for the goal Friday was brilliant.

All his social media activity has been positive, and you saw with the celebrations on Friday that he's an extremely popular member of the squad. I hope he gets to start the next 2 games and get a goal or two, and hopefully that will kickstart his career with us. Will never forget that goal and whatever happens he's a Chelsea hero in my eyes!

Yeah with those he's been responsible (only partly on Diego's of course) for 6 extra points there.

 

I like Michy's attitude as well. Compare it to Lukaku who started complaining and then finally left. Michy is patiently waiting for his chance

I feel like we should keep Michy around. There is definitely a good player there, he just needs more chances. I'm not convinced he'd ever be first choice here but he could be a hell of a squad option.

He seems like an upgraded Kalou right now. Scores goals but is lacking in other areas. But he has time on his side to keep improving.

Strong, quick, can hold onto a ball, can pick a pass and most importantly can score. A bit of fine tuning and i can't see why he can't be a beast.

The quality is not that great, but one can see Bats touches

I haven't seen much of Bats, however not sure he has that much pace and some of his passing seemed slow and so appears it get intercepted.

My thoughts, agree with all that has been said, good attitude and takes his goals well. Summing up though, I don't think he is yet a top striker so if he stays I see it as a back up striker.
