He's class, there is no way Llorente should be purchased when we have Michy. 

Look we now have 2 young strikers if we don't play bats he will eventually leave, if he keeps developing we might have to play 2 up top

I wouldn't mind seeing us play 3-4-1-2, with Hazard behind Morata and Batshuayi as an option next season, if Batshuayi keeps up his form.

Only problem with that is width, you only have the full backs providing, if they are pushed back you're very narrow

I really rate him, i'm coming from his point of view more than anything.

If his opportunities aren't going to be vastly enhanced compard to last season then he needs a loan for his development.

If he's going to be trusted more then great but if the options are

a) Michy staying and playing as little as last season

b) signing Llorente who plays as little as Michy last season while Michy goes to Newcastle and starts 30+ league games

then it's b all day long.

We are playing in Europe we need 2 strikers at least, why would we buy a striker to loan out a better striker he is going to learn more as a sub and 10 starts with us than he will all season at Crystal Palace or abroad, people forget when we aren't playing we are training, training with top coaching and meshing with your team is how you get players ready, he isn't a youth player, he will play and as stated limited with us in big games and in the CL is better experience than loads of game time with inferior coaching and low pressure games, loans work for youth not for players ready for first team football who have a part to play its like saying loan Willian if pedro is going to start most of the time.

Michy has done enough to earn a place in the team now, he's only going to get better from here on.

I think the 32 year old Llorente would be a 3rd choice striker, seems like Conte has wanted him for a long time and I trust his judgement like with other 'unfashionable' players like Alonso and Moses.

I don't think we can rely on Remy anymore, who hasn't been fit since 2015...

From the way Conte treated Michy last season, I feel we will struggle if Morata doesn't adapt easily because Conte having clamoured for him all this while will play Morata ahead of Michy until Morata hits form. And that might affect Michy who has already gel with the team.
It will be similar to that time when Costa lost form and it was obvious he won't score in a match but Conte still prefer to put him on the field over Michy who is desperate to get on the field and show he can do better than Costa at that time.

You might be right but let's hope he gives Michy more minutes since now we have to worry about more cups than last years.

All he needs is to start game when Morata is unavailable, and get subbed on with 20-30 minutes to go more often.

Last season, he didn't even start when Costa was out (Hazard was striker), and he was regularly bought on as a time wasting sub with seconds to go. 

His gametime this season will be much more acceptable, if Conte starts treating him like the talented striker he is, rather than being a Sunday Leaguer who won a competition to sit on Chelsea's bench.

Well I hope and wish for something much more, like Conte making it public to everyone that he doesn't have a preferred choice between Morata and Michy but both of them must use the preseason to fight for the starting spot. Yeah, I will like something like that because unlike most people here I can't really predict who might score the most goals or win us the most games between the two. So I think if both are given a fair chance, we will get the best out of them. But with the fee that brought Morata here and Conte always declaring his admiration for Morata, Michy might have to accept being a second choice striker again even if his performance is beats that of Morata in training and on the field, that's my biggest scare!

Scored again today and he is gradually becoming one of my favourite player. With him in our squad, I think we have arguably the best second choice striker in the EPL.
Anybody else think if Emenalo had not signed him last season, it will have taken months of negotiations to get him this summer for 45 or 50m pounds?

He does seem to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time. He keeps on scoring, surely Conte can't keep ignoring that.

obviously Morata is going to need to get games too and we shouldn't start getting all worked up when it happens as every club needs at least 2 top strikers to be the best.

Needs to try to stay calm when things are going wrong, he tends to stress and that leads to stupid mistakes, like misplacing simple passes or losing the ball. Defintely improved fro this time last year though, his hold up/link up play is much better, far superior to Costa's I'd say.

i think Bats should be second choice, I also wouldn't think that LLorente would be a bad purchase but we can infer nothing from pre season friendlies whilst conte is reshaping the entire team.

Can’t see the point of Llorente at this point especially at any price over £15m. We have 2 superior players on our books already, and we will only play one on top. It will be a waste of resources, and thank God the club doesn’t offer over 30s more than a year long contract.

Potentially 60 matches with up to 3 a week at some points. It only takes a slight injury to go to be left with no cover at all. It's why I've been a big proponent of Sanchez, we haven't had a backup CF who gets games elsewhere on the pitch since Anelka.

We went 2 up top in the 2nd half today didn't we? I thought it looked like a 5-3-2, with Willian dropping into a right-sided central position.

Needs to start season as main striker

Also he's starting to show the promise I believe with the support of the board we could have a absolutely steal of a striker on our hands
