March 11, 20188 yr So Jamie Carragher was filmed spitting at a United fan while driving home after their game, quite disgusting how he got so much out like a buckshot, when I spit it comes out as a tiny bullet. Hit the guy's 14 year old daughter in the face, wonder what Sky are going to do about it? And the goading from the guy was so typical and tame, I'm surprised he reacted so badly to it, was literally like "Hey Carragher, 2-1"

I bet it went on way before that. I mean the guys in the middle lane and slowing down to give him sh*t. Carragher should get his fair share of critisism but that guy was after what he got and the crap about his 'poor kid' is a joke.

Is it really that hard to just ignore the idiot with the phone and continue driving?

One suspects based on what exactly ? Whatever went on beforehand, and from that clip we have no idea, there can be no excuse whatsoever for someone gobbing at another person, that's just vile.
March 12, 20188 yr Spitting is the lowest of the low...remember when rijkaard did it at voller at italia '90 and it sickened me as a teenager...still get the same feeling now as a middle aged git...can understand (to a degree) if he'd wound down his video and said 'fcuk off' or something...but no excuse for gobbing at someone, even if he is acting like a prat...the saddest thing in the video is the 14-year-old daughter acts more mature than her dad and the pundit Edited March 12, 20188 yr by The Brit
March 12, 20188 yr Kenedy looks decent, playing in his natrual position, fancy that. Never a wing back, far better in an advanced positon and that was a fine goal he scored. Edited March 12, 20188 yr by Floyd25
March 12, 20188 yr I hope Harry Kane's scan reveals he is out for the rest of the season. We might scrape top 4 that way.
March 12, 20188 yr Indeed, hopefully enough for him to come back sharp at the world cup, but miss the league Although we might need Son, Erikson etc to get injured too!
March 12, 20188 yr I really hope Kane is ok. We need him fully fit and raring to go for the World Cup. As far as I'm concerned I hope he's 100 % fit for the Chelsea game. I want the best Chelsea v the best Spurs. I don't wish injuries or players to miss games, especially a world class striker who will hopefully score us the goals which could potentially have us go deep in a major international tournament. I wish him a very speedy recovery. We shouldn't be hoping players miss games cause we have f**ked up our league position. 'Tis what it is, now deal with it. Edited March 12, 20188 yr by Famous CFC

March 12, 20188 yr Llorente will score a hat trick against us and Conte will spontaneously combust on the touchline.
March 12, 20188 yr Spitting is disgusting, one of the worst things you can do someone. I only ever completely lost it on a football pitch twice my whole life, and one of them was when a dirty little scrote spat at me. I wonder if the police will get involved as spitting is classed as assault I think.
March 12, 20188 yr Bit awkward at work today. Overheard some people behind me say "Why would Carragher do that? Spitting at someone is the worst thing you can do!" I lost my temper and turned round and said "He's scouse scum, what did you expect? They're all like that!" , totally forgetting that the woman next to the person I said that to is from Liverpool. I was greeted with stony-faced silence. I've booked the rest of the day off
March 12, 20188 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43369490 The Greek Super League has been indefinitely suspended after PAOK Salonika's president invaded the pitch with a gun during a match on Sunday. Ivan Savvidis tried to confront the referee with a gun in a hip holster after his side had a late goal ruled out for offside against AEK Athens. AEK's players left the pitch concerned for their safety and did not return. The match was officially abandoned two hours later and local police are seeking Savvidis to arrest him. Deputy Sports Minister Giorgos Vasiliadis announced the abandonment of all top-flight matches on Monday after a meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. "It won't start again unless there is a clear framework, agreed by all, to move forward with conditions and rules," he added. World football governing body Fifa and European chiefs Uefa both condemned the incident but said any disciplinary measures "fall under the jurisdiction of the Greek FA". Savvidis, one of Greece's richest men, was born in Georgia of Greek heritage and is a former member of the Russian parliament. He asked his team to leave the pitch after PAOK had a goal ruled out for offside in the 89th minute and then marched towards the referee with two bodyguards before being pulled back. PAOK are third in the Greek top flight and could have moved within two points of leaders AEK with a win. The club was deducted three points - but managed to overturn the sanction on appeal - after Olympiakos Piraeus coach Oscar Garcia was hit by a roll of paper thrown from the stands at PAOK.
March 12, 20188 yr I hope the idiot driving while on the phone fliming Jamie gets 6 points and a fine too what a idoit just so you can wind up a pudit. As for Jamie I think the shame and financial penality of it has but him right back in his place, anytime he tries to call someone he will have to think twice
March 12, 20188 yr So Carragher has basically got off scot-free. A night off work for a pointless dead rubber game between City and Stoke and that's it? Ok, the guy in the car is a complete twat and really ought to get charged with a motoring offence, but Andy Gray and that hairy fella, and Ron Atkinson and Rodney Marsh must all be scratching their heads.
March 12, 20188 yr He called up talksport in the past half drunk, basically just to say we have no history, because he'd been triggered by Cundy. Hardly the sharpest knife in the draw, or the most professional person, it would never cross my mind to spit on someone, even if the driver was a first class twat.

He's got anger issues I think, he's lashed out on social media a few times, look what he said to Danny Simpson over a joke.
March 12, 20188 yr Just watched his interview with Sarah Hewson on Sky News. She had him on the ropes and let him go. He was nearly in tears, but I just couldn't help think that it's the old thing that he does regret it, but only because he's worried he might lose his cushy job on Sky Sports. In fact I have no doubt he'd attack the guy given half the chance. Weirdest bit though was when the interviewer quoted Joey Barton saying he should have wound up his window and ignored him and should lose his job for doing something you just can't do. This coming from a man who has been to prison for assault, stubbed a cigarette out in someone's face, had a suspended sentence for ABH on a team mate and assaulted a 15 year old Everton fan. Not sure he's best placed to be advising or critiquing. If anything, Barton is a fine example of how professional football gives employees a licence to do what they want with almost no fear of consequences beyond a paltry fine. The more I think about it, who gives a sh*t? Most people in this industry are awful and so are a good many of the people who follow it (including the guy who instigated this incident). Football gets what it deserves I guess.
