The Sgt Major hears of Liverpools defeat to Real.

Weirdly enough that's Rudd Gullit's favourite show that's why he used to call the players his lovely boys.

Liverpooh lost, Ronaldo didn't get a chance to do the Hulk impresson, Salah off the field crying, Karius made the usual mistakes, it's a pretty good final after all. How many finals have Klopp? By Joser's definition, that's a specialist in failure.

I think ox was a massive loss, because they only had an unfit lallana to bring on, who couldn't keep up the press.

I didn't see any thing wrong with ramos's challenge, yes he pulled him down, but there was no intention to injure him. I feel for Salah, deserved a better ending to the season, hope he makes the world cup.

Bale is fantastic, I know he might have put himself in the shop window, but I think it was a power play from bale, they're no way they are selling him after that.

Really hope ronaldo doesn't retire, I can't see neymar or Salah leaving this summer, so it would likely fall to hazard as the target to replace him.

Happy liverpool lost though, It would've been unbearable to listen to the media turn klopp into the new shankley.

Watching the manipulation of the ref by the RM players is something that is pure evil in the game, right at the top of the game.

The screaming and screeching they do when they are tackled, the kind of noise that you save for when you have just had your leg chopped off.

The personal good/bad cop routine they go through with the officials. One minute ferociously addressing the officials, next minute joking and laughing with them.

It's an art form in itself, but it's something that i despise in modern football.

I really enjoyed watching England v Australia in the netball final WAY more than this crap.

Feel sorry for Karius and the guys who went off injured. To work so hard to get to the biggest game of most of their lives and then either go off, or completely f**k up in front of hundreds of millions of people, i'd not be able to handle it.

I still think the tears were more for the World Cup

First comment I read on RAWK :face_palm:

“That's the third you're talking about, I think. I'm talking about the bicycle kick, he should save that, it's very saveable but he pulls his arms away.”

Read more cringey comments about how Ramos knew he was injuring Salah and how Liverpool will win the league next year and be in more finals next year, etc. They’re obviously forgetting that Klopp has lost 3 finals since he’s been at Liverpool.

What's with all this 'sympathy for Karius' bollx in the press as well? He's only too happy to take the rewards, the money, adulation (when things go right) etc but he's not supposed to get any stick for THAT display? Just further evidence of the Red bias in our media.

I watched in a pub last night surrounded by southern Liverpool fans...made it all the more enjoyable to see them get beat...not sure what they were more stunned into silence by...karius' fcuk ups or bale's stunner...the pub emptied at the final whistle though leaving me and my mate to poss ourselves laughing and order more drinks to celebrate

Jermaine Pennant has now chimed in, apparently a Liverpool fan, though he was awful for them for 3 years. He’s been giving Karius abuse and that’s supposedly a former pro, how embarrassing.

One of the things that’s making me laugh is they’re acting like no Karius mistakes and/or Salah injury and they win the game. They may have been playing better when Salah was on the pitch but what’s to say they’d have definitely won? So deluded honestly.
