Awful schedule for us and it cost us. City was better and more fresh. We lost Morata early. Logical reasons behind the loss. Not too worried but the table looks bad.

Willian is finished in my eyes. Pedro not quite there yet, but hasn't been convincing either. We need another quality attacking winger alongside Hazard and Morata. Terrible, we created nothing of note in this game. 

How nice would it have been if we bought a proper first choice RWB rather than having to play Azpilicueta at RWB? Then we'd have rested Cahill as well and played Rudiger at LCB. Oh and a proper LWB would have been nice too, you know. See how tired they looked out there.

We played badly against a very good team, defended well though to keep it as 1-0

The passing was f**king atrocious. And Willian should never have been the one to come on for Alv.

Disagree with Cesc, he's just a lethargic player, still one of our best and best playmakers in the league. 

But Willian is really disappointing me this season, I'm a big fan of his also, if I keep seeing him play like this I don't know how I can enjoy watching him play or like the player.

League's gone in my mind, require reinforcements in January or we will face more games like this after CL football. Doubt the board will back him though

Wingbacks need to be able to peg our oppositions backs/wingbacks with pace and an offensive threat, he never will.

This Game did not need Cesc ....Baka and Kante would have managed ...Pedro should have started on right  ....it invited City more and more ...Hazard and Morata were completely isolated, poor tactics and poor subs

Last year this was the case after we lost to Arsenal and Liverpool. Hope the players don't give up as quick.

The game plan went off the pitch with Morata 

under the circumstances losing by a solitary goal which was pretty special ain't too bad as they attacked like a pack of rabid wolves on speed !

hope Morata not seriously hurt as that would upset me more than the loss

And at the end of the day they're owned and financed by a oil rich country not an oil rich individual and have a stellar stellar squad.

 

Outplayed by the better team today, Conte got tactics wrong and we look tired. Not sure putting Willian on for Morata was right move as no target man... Hazard looked annoyed at that.

 

Christiansen looked really good today and we looked better without 3 central mids although still exposed.

you know there's something called fatigue ... It can happen. Not bothered one bit. as long as we deliver in the UCL, I am fine with that! Mancs and Citeh wont do sh*t in UCL when things start to get serious. But we need to understand that a five player turnover is mandatory when we play UCL and PL the samz week!! orelse there's a risk of losing like that again!!! 

At least we’ve played city spurs and arsenal 

Also I hope this puts the Willian debate to bed, he's just not a top quality player...never has been. He lacks vision, confidence, final ball and mentality.

Disagree except for Rudiger & Cahill, Cahill had a shocker in terms of passing but Rudiger still has some way to go, he really struggled today but wasn't an easy game for him by any means.

The fact that we setup so defensively. Showed so much respect and don't once try and press them high up the field. As Ferdinand just said playing 3 at the back is a mistake (up against Jesus) because your a man down everywhere else already. So many errors. Don't defend the indefensible. If we have it a good go and still got beaten by the better team you'd have a point. But conte set the precedent from minute one and didn't make the right substitutions/tactical changes to make any sort of difference
