I don't expect any new signings during this window. They are going to sack Conte and won't spend anything for him. (Hope I'm wrong in both assumptions)

I know what you mean but when have we ever (recent history) signed a player for a manager? They could sign three players, none of which Conte wants and neither does whoever they're thinking of hiring next.

As ever, recent performances are really giving the impression that all is not well as usual at the Bridge. Didn't watch the game but hearing Hazard was subbed again baffles me. He'd have to be having the worst game imaginable to be taken off in this team.

One thing for sure is that I'm past the point of being angry or even mildly annoyed as the goings on of the last three or four seasons have served to really bring my expectations right back down to pre Roman levels. It really is a right Fred Karno's in SW6.

A clean sheet isn't even a silver lining here, on paper it definitely is, but Leicester were the better team throughout the majority of the game. They had plenty of clear-cut chances we were lucky not to concede, so we have problems just about everywhere at the moment.

That's a good point - Mahrez especially was opening up our defence with ease until the sending off, and they had the better of the chances. The were a few moments of individually good defending/goalkeeping, but normally we'd prefer to avoid those moments altogether.

I'm hopeful that this performance (especially going forward) might give the board a kick to the arse, with Sanchez and Mahrez both reportedly in the shop window, we should be going for one of them.

As poorly as we played credit has to go to Leicester who from the start pressed us high up the pitch. They closed down our passing lanes, our midfield was poor and we just never got ourselves into the game proper. Morata is looking poorer by the game, his flopping to the ground at the slightest touch is very annoying and his lack of goal scoring threat is worrying. He reminds me of Soldado who was an equally good technical striker but not strong enough physically or mentally for the role of leading a side challenging for honours. We seriously need to look for a good striker to back him up. Enough has already been said about Bakayoko, simply isn't good enough at present to be starting and looking every bit the player who performed so dismally against Juve last season when many on here gave him a firm NO to be signed. The system is though failing on a lack of good wing backs, the ball from wide areas is either poorly delivered or invariably played back inwards from good positions. The injection of new blood in the form of Barkely might brighten us up as he is capable of running with the ball but in reality we are desperately short of a spark upfront , a player who can ignite us along with Hazard. Failure to sign one this window is likely to leave us fighting for a Europa League place next season, which in all honesty is the level we are at right now.

They were just better than us.

We couldn't pass it out, because they pressed us high and we gave it away.
We couldn't hit it long, because Morata/Hazard don't win headers and they just get it straight back.

Our passing was terrible again.
Decision making in the final third was poor.
Very few people actually running forward into the box, so Morata was the only one there on the rare occasions Moses got the ball in a crossing position.

We just don't create enough with Hazard and Morata up front. Hazard is not a striker, he is much better on the left where he can cut inside.
Better when we went 3-4-3, Willian and Pedro actually ran forward and looked to do something, but we only really started playing when they went down to 10, which is not good enough.

Overall, just a massive shrug of the shoulders from me, so bored of seeing the same thing every week.

after a mid week game this was expected. quite a bit of lethargy in this performance. if we don't strengthen further in this window, then it might be time to be slightly concerned with our league expectations. i only care for top 3/4 this season. anything else is just a small, unexpected bonus.

hmmm - I think we had enough to beat this lot.  Don't think the mood week affected this but rather manager tactics and choices.  Could have started with Pedro Willian Zapacosta and we could have done better.  The problem is Bakayoko who is missing in mid and we have no threat going forward.  We will only improve once we start playing with Pedro Willian and Hazard on the pitch - a thing I doubt will ever happen under Conte

Not a good run.... should we bid for Sanchez ?!

You'd think it would be a no brainier considering how desperate we are for one. Just a bit odd we wouldn't even inquire. Who knows Alexis may be all for a move to the Bridge. Guess you don't win unless you buy a ticket.

We might have.

Maybe so but there is nothing been reported. I doubt we have. Probably just hopeing our striker woes will sort themselves out. Apparently miracles do happen once in a while.

Well now we have Spurs on our arse also as they stroll through the Everton game....we need to get ourselves out of this slump or we will be looking up at the top 4 in a few weeks.  What's happened is unexplainable, how a team can go completely off the boil in 3 weeks is amazing.   With the manager seemingly not being happy, no doubt his demeanour is beginning to spread to the players and now he can't get even the basics right in terms of team selection and set up against an average side like Leicester.  I fear if these performances continue the Board will do as they have done throughout the last decade and fire his arse with no blame being placed upon themselves.

Top 4 is going to be difficult now, Liverpool score so many goals that they will win lots of games. Spurs are improving all the time and have a striker who just never fails to score. If we don't pick things up quickly, we could find ourselves in 5th pretty soon.

Nah ... I'm still very confident that we will finish ahead of Manchester United :)

Liverpool and Tottenham have found their form at the right time. Us and United are faltering, but we can't take advantage of United's cock ups.

We were leaking goals a month or so back. Could the fix for that be the cause of our goal drought (Arsenal league game excluded where we could have had three or four). I missed this match and was glad I did so after seeing the score. Is Hazard fit I wonder?

This is our strongest lineup atm I feel... and it won't get used funnily enough.

                    Courtois

        Azpi Christensen Rudiger

Zappa Drinkwater Kante Alonso

             Hazard          Pedro

                       Morata

Struggle to accept we played 3-5-2 against Leicester, surely it should have been 3-4-3. Just thought it would be played against the likes of City, Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal.

I think some of the dressing room is unhappy, don't think this is like Mourinho yet think this is a dangerous time for him.

For God’s sake man play 3-4-3 against Norwich and go out to win!

Just back, lovely day out with my grandson, shame we were below par.Leicester played well,we didnt really get going,so i will take the draw.We need a kickstart to get us going again now.Football always has its ups and downs so not surprised at the mini slump.Would like to see us poach Sanchez and Mahrez, both would slot in nicely lol.Anyway.....UP THE CHELS !

We are so toothless at the moment.

Even worse, were clueless, which rhymes with toothless, so it must be true.

We've forgotten how to win for some reason 4 games played in 2018 and 4 draws. We don't look like scoring and our only saving grace is that we're not conceding either (although Leicester really should have had us today)

is it lethargy? Too many games? - who knows, but we need to change something. I'd stop playing Bakayoko for a start.
