On his passing i think its more game sharpness his mind is not seeing opportunities quickly enough (not that there are many with a static forward line)... but i did count this one time when he took 8 touches before making a 20 yard sideways pass.. 

Well he didn't do it and once again the back line got exposed and Rudiger simply let the ball hang in the 6 yard box for the 3rd goal which is a clear error leading to goal by him. 

Honestly I don't see anyone being capable of protecting the backline for 90min, at some point a cross will get in our box and the opposition will score an easy tap in.

Sheffield isn't one of the bottom teams they are in top 6, ahead of Spuds and Arse so it was always going to be a close game on paper but when your central defenders can't clear a simple cross and can't mark anyone in their own box what can you expect?

I would of played Kovacic there, im surprised Frank played Jorginho.

He was injured just recently and he doesn't really play that role. Honestly you can put whoever you want there the result is the same.

Same, but there were one or two icy moments where he was dispossessed when under pressure. But other than that, I thought he had a good game. 

Good first half, pretty average second half. Norwich made him work hard.

Thought he was pretty average all game. Bar one or two good passes the rest was something anyone could have done against what is clearly the worst team in the league.

Think he will be moved on end of the season and that's probably best for both parties.

thought he was ok last night. lack of movement upfront meant he had few passing options at most times.. but when he did try to play the difficult ball we got countered.. there was a period between 50-65th minute where he kept giving the ball away, trying to play the hollywood pass.. but honestly he looks more like an average version of Mikel rather than Pirlo to me..

Some might say that a Pirlo needs his Gattuso...But Kante and Jorginho didn't look that good together, when all is said and done if you can't dominate Norwich what else is there to talk about?

Always looks better with kovacic next to him.

Did a good job overall, his pressing ability is underrated he was on players backs the whole game when we were chasing the ball.

Agree think they are both intelligent players and so can complement each other. 

Pressed from minute one to minute 95 didn't let United midfield rest not one bit great performance

I was surprised he was left out after the restart. I wondered if we would sell him but in the current climate I can’t see to many buyers. 

I think having kante beside him would protect him a lot more allowing him to concentrate on getting in the ball.  

Always looks best next to Kovacic, hate to say it but Kante is starting to look out of place in this modern Chelsea team.

He looks more solid in the 3 at the back we played today, not sure what the formation was, a very fluid 3-6-1, type of thing?

Still a key player, pretty sure in most big games he played well.

Our 3-4-3 is well polished, Jorginho and Kovacic know where they should be and Mount looks great.

I mentioned this in the Reece James thread  (I think it was that one), I noticed Jorginho filling in well for him when Reece got forward, it worked really well and gave us that confidence to allow James to get up the pitch and cause problems.

the tactic of Super Frank was to overwhelm Young Williams for Yanited. Super Frank had Willian, Reece James & Dave bombing forward to put Williams under threat.

Not making the foul for the 5th was literally the dumbest thing this season we've seen from Chelsea player. And the bar was set too high, so just saying.

The only way he does that is if he goes all in against a player in full pace, he's not as dirty as that but he has had the most yellow cards this season so he does know how to make a tactical foul.

I took that into consideration, that's why I was shocked of what he did. Unbelievably stupid of him.

No he's right in this situation, he has to pull him down or do anything to stop that, any other player takes a tactical foul, and DM of all people SHOULD definitely be taking a tactical foul.
