Sky saying Newcastle hard done by...conveniently forgetting manner of their equaliser...twats.

Pleased with the win, but f**k me that has to be a contender for one of the worst matches of the season already.

Tough game so credit to the players for grabbing the win.

Now that we've won and bagged the three points, I feel I can ignore the lead up to Newcastle's goal, and wonder just how he got that power and direction on the header. It was a quality header.

 

Wish Rudiger's strike went in though. That would have been one of the very best.

Got to say, the refereeing was absolutely shocking all game. 

Not as enjoyable as the first 2 games, but i'll take any win away to this lot.

Ref was awful, we were too passive, they were thugish, we win, glad it's over.

Rollercoaster game yet now second though level on points just below Liverpool is a great start to the season.

First win against Newcastle at St James' Park since 2011! Not the most fun match, tough at times, as could expect with a recent bogey team of ours, but to go there and grind out a win is a big positive. 3 matches so far, 9 points, and Bournemouth and Cardiff both at home next two matches as well, real chance to continue a strong start to the season!

Great result, hazard looked sharp at the start. Tough game for us but happy with the 3 points 

That was horrendous but, at least the right team won.

Was left thinking that with hindsight it might have been good that they did nothing for 80 minutes because we appear to have some serious problems defending.

Pen in my view was a pen you can take the ball but not then proceed to take the man from the back while the ball you took is still in his stride. 

Luis’s inanimate state for the Newcastle goal was as rediculous as letting play go on after a clear elbow. 

First win at Newcastle in 7 years, absolutely hate playing them, job done not pretty but 3 points ticked off.
