Newcastle V Chelsea (PL) Sun 26th Aug 16:00 UK

A very good 3pts no matter what.......NC have some voodoo sh*t on us, a fully deserving win for sure. But Luiz man, Sarii has to figure out he aint a starter.

Glad to get the 3 points, after one hell of a boring 75 minutes or so. Newcastle were like us against Man City last year, offering absolutely nothing. I feel like we could have created more, if we'd moved the ball faster or just had some shots from outside the area, so much of it was slow, back and forth.

Also, I have to mention...Luiz on their goal, awful defending. Literally just stood there and waited for the ball to come to him. Kepa should probably have done better as well.

And the league table says played 3 won 3.

All three games, same fixtures last season we failed to win, well done Sarri, 100% improvement on Conte so far. Get the fags out and crash us one mate.

Said at half time that the commentary was brutal, didn't get much better.

Yes Alonso's foul probably wasn't a penalty, but Yedlin did elbow Giroud and was that elbow mentioned nearly as many times in the immediate aftermath of the goal as much as it was in the lead up to the penalty? Of course not, they need to try and make their bias less obvious and that co-commentator should stick to championship football

The best team won.

Newcastle didn't play any football at all. hardly surprising they lost innit.

It was more surprising how they even managed to score a goal with those tactics, they were playing for a 0-0 as soon as the kick off.

I don't think Kepa expected it and Luiz didn't play to the whistle as they all stopped thinking it was a foul.

If the ref and his assistant were not such rubbish they wouldn't have.

Sky saying Newcastle hard done by...conveniently forgetting manner of their equaliser...twats.

Dinosaurs at Sky if they think that performance deserved anything. Newcastle defended well, but we allowed them to because we played so slow. They didn't even try to play football, they just fouled our players. People will say we can't say anything because we did the same to win the Champions League, but there was more to it than that. We were playing the two best teams on the planet at the time, we were ultra defensive, but we still had an attacking plan, we still tried to score when we got the chance. Newcastle today tried nothing, they fouled more than they passed forward. They got exactly what they deserved out of that performance today. Performances like that don't deserve to be rewarded.

When are we all going to realise that for the last 15 years we've been hated on the mere fact we dared to have money and compete with the so called top three of then (le arse, manure, dippers). Do you honestly think the media will suddenly like us or be just and equitable when analyzing our matches ?? They hate us and will always find something to criticize us because football is full of frauds and dumbasses, even former players !! So fcuk them !!! The next time they criticize us when we play counter/direct football, remember they shat on us and said we were underserving when we had 85 % possession ... UTC !!!! And fcuk the rest !!!

I know we've set up ultra defensively in the past, but Newcastle didn't even attempt to play for 80 minutes. I know a few Newcastle fans, and that must've been painful to support.

Don't think we approached our attack quite right, too slow and central a lot of the time. Credit to Alonso for breaking the lines, although it wasn't a penalty.

And elbow on Giroud aside, their goal is exactly why Luiz is a liability in games, solid for 89 minutes but switched off at a crucial moment that could've cost us two points. Foul or not, and even if he thought he heard a whistle, his instinct has to be to defend the cross regardless.

That aside its three points, 9 from 9, and we're far from the finished article. Couldn't really ask for a better start.

We beat huddersfield away last season as well.

Totally deserved 3 points, Newcastle have not seen the ball this game.

While vwry happy with the result i tthough we were a bit slow and predictable, we need to move the ball faster.

Alonso ? Better than Morata up front at the moment

People are confusing tactics with just plain being sh*thouses.
