I think I might change my mind, having seen the sky analysis, Shola is blatantly biased, but agree with the other two that it’s a scissor motion and that takes Alonso down, so it is a penalty.

Still don’t think their goal should have stood, not meant to elbow him or not (I think he probably did), it’s a foul and should’ve been disallowed, simple.

It would be good to get his view on some of their challenges on VAR too to see if they warranted cards yet that won't happen!

It was similar to Yaya Toure's foul in the horrific Overbo game, even though Toure got the ball he still took the player down before he got the ball, he completely battered his foot through the player to get the ball.

This was very similar, he did manage to get his foot on the ball but he took Alonso down to do it.

Fully deserved victory, that's a penalty every day in modern football, they were sent out to boot our players from the first minute by the fat Spanish c**t, ref was shockingly bad, how did they all miss that f**king elbow? Newcastles tactic of having a flat back everyone made it difficult but it's great that Sarri was positive in his changes to go for the win. 3 from 3 and getting better each game, great to see. 

When we have 85% possession, media sihts on us. When we play direct football/counter football, they sh*t on us. When do people will stop giving those ****** credibility and attention? Personnally, I'm only watching the game and go on the forum afterwards. No need to have frauds in sky/bt etc explaining to me how we don't deserve to win when EVERY stat shows we've dominated ... FFS!!! Kanté and Giroud have more world cup wins that any of the so called pundits criticizing them / their team ... Case closed.

To be fair on Morata, he had 2 of 3 centre backs glued to him at all times, and still managed to hold up and distribute today. I don't think he did his job any better/worse than the rest of our attackers today, given what we were up against.

Nah dude. Entire team doesn't know how to get through the back 8 of newcastle but Morata is not good and everyone else is.

Exactly, a lot of fouls are accidents (we all know this one wasn't though) but you still give them. Mane accidentally kicked Ederson against City last season, he still got sent off though. Accident or not, it's still a foul and a lot clearer than the penalty that was given against them.

People saying we were slow & predictable need to understand it's hard for any team to play against an opposition who have all their players sat deep in their own half.

And I missed that miracle, fcuk ! It was an once in a lifetime experience ! Anyway, fair play to him then ! Gotta give him credits. But apart from this "miracle" or very few pundits, the overwhelming majority of punditry (you could replace the p with a c at that point ...) is so biased against us ... it's unbelievable. It must be a UK thing, because I don't have the same impression from other countries.
