Superb win. We found our stride second half, the first can be forgotten as a nervy story of containment.

Luiz, Rudiger and Azpi were excellent, and Alonso was solid second half. The movement and energy levels from the front three was superb also, justified that selection entirely, we looked very dangerous on the break.

Thought Kante and Jorginho grew into it after nervy starts, Kante in particular had a great 2nd half. Kovacic looked the most comfortable of the three first half, hopefully the injury's not too serious. But to be fair, Barkley and Loftus Cheek stepped up in what had to be a difficult game to join late, both very good alternatives for that role.

Split between Azpi and Luiz for MOTM for this, both led the team so well. Delighted with this result, hopefully shakes off the dip in form, and reiginites the faith in this promising system we're growing into!

I'd just likely point out Barkley and RLC when they came on was both very good.. barkleys first touch and he lost the ball and I was cursing going mad thinking he'd manage to lose us the games and lift us-cheek should of came on instead of him but Barkley was brilliant and so was RLC .. kovacic was really good too and so was Kante!  so I'm still non the wiser what the best midfield is haha

Even at the height of my optimism I cant see anything other than Chelsea getting turned over and having our belly rubbed, City are operating in a different league to us and the rest of the PL.

I just hope its not to embarrassing because against Spurs, we could have lost by 5 or 6 easily and Spurs dont have a patch on City.

Didn't expect us to beat City and keep a clean sheet but none of us should be that surprised. It's what Football is all about - pulling off the unexpected.
