February 2, 20197 yr Those two goals could be vital. We needed him to start his Chelsea career quickly, we don't have time for him to have a settling in period. Hopefully it continues and he can reach double figures in the league by the end of the season. Edited February 2, 20197 yr by Scott Harris
February 2, 20197 yr Once he is 100% fit, you could see he looked a bit leggy at times, he is gonna take off, Great movement, sharp where he needs to be, and not afraid to shoot first time.
February 2, 20197 yr Looks like he wants to score, which although an odd thing to say about a striker is something I feel like Morata and Giroud could be criticised for. His movement was good, looking to get in behind the defence, looking for the gaps. Was impressed today. I think the success of his loan might be determined by whether he gets quality service or not.

I think you could see am improvement in trying to get early ball into Higgy, but how do chelsea up and lower their game is exasperating
February 2, 20197 yr I saw a stat on twitter. He has now more goals than Giroud in the PL. That's pretty sad for Olivier, but Giroud should be doing better tbh.
February 2, 20197 yr I was amazed when he did that curler, never thought he had it in him. WE’VE GOT A STRIKER BOYS!

February 2, 20197 yr That first goal from Higuain is a goal we've missed for a long time, a proper strikers goal, really glad to see. He can definitely bang them in.
February 2, 20197 yr A old school number 9 who can thump the ball and doesnt fall to the floor everytime the wind blows . Two great finishes today
February 2, 20197 yr I actually can't remember him falling over from the wind blowing pass him in his games so far or moaning constantly for no reason Now Morata......[emoji848]

February 2, 20197 yr Both goals from Higuain was great. Obviously I liked his second goal a lot more (in spite of a slight deflection). I think that this performance was a great response to criticism he got from the match against Bournemouth. Hopefully, he will continue against the next opponents.
February 2, 20197 yr Think today showed he isn't a 30 something washed up striker who's here to collect a paycheck. Guy has a hunger to score goals, still slightly rusty but his movement is top notch, always looking to create space for himself in the box, also linked up well with Hazard a few times Will certaintly give opposition defences something to think about. Morata and Giroud just didn't seem to carry any presence or threat amongst themselves. Higuain on the other hand looks absolutely deadly in the box like he has done his whole career

February 2, 20197 yr Early days and it was only Huddersfield, but he looks different gravy to what we suffered from the always offside/falling over one...he looks a bit leggy and at 31, his pace not the quickest, but his movement looks so good. Just a shame it took the board till January to back Sarri in signing him rather than doing the deal last summer. Would have made a huge difference to the league season me thinks.
February 2, 20197 yr Great start from Higuain, i know he is now a bit older, but the one season Higuain worked under Sarri he scored 38 league goals in 36 appearances. 83mins per goal.
February 3, 20197 yr I've never seen Higuaín play live except for Argentina where in my opinion he has done very little. Today took his goals very well and kept moving into space making himself available, a very good sign.

February 3, 20197 yr The first goal shows you don’t have to move far to create a chance, but knowing where to go is so important
