Got to say that signing Raphinha and Sterling when we already have a squad overfilled with attackers is a gutsy move from Boehly & Tuchel if it happens. In previous years we would never have done that before we had sold the likes of Werner, Pulisic, Ziyech and CHO. Now we are essentially telling most of them that you won't get to play much here so if your want to keep your career going you better lower your salary demands so we can send you on to another club or risk your career stalling.

Pulisic and Ziyech are highly rumoured to be off so it makes sense.

Both of them have been massive disappointments

I just wanted to say that I'm glad Todd let the previous backroom staff go especially Marina and Petr. 

Though I have always rationalized their decisions, the fact that we haven't been able to challenge for the PL for 5 years deserves consequences. Especially when the board allowed their poaching to hinder us in important seasons. For all the goodwill and PR that Petr brought with him, I will probably never forgive him for allowing Lukaku to set foot on this club again and giving Lukaku a slap on the wrist for his overall behavior at the club.

I think the worse thing about the Lukaku behaviour is basic due dillengence would have seen it coming, I mean he already had form with us fgs.

If anything he was tame compared to what I was expecting.

The board had to go for last summer's appalling transfer window alone. Spent all summer to negotiate the disastrous Lukaku deal and bring in another useless player in Saul on loan. Meanwhile selling off Guehi, Tomori (admittedly he was already committed following the earlier loan), Livramento, Tammy, Giroud. Then loaning out a bunch more talented young players leaving the squad paper thin for a season where we knew we would have commitments to additional tournaments.
