Weird mood at the bridge. The game is so lackadaisical. The crowd have been consistent, consisistent with booing Alonso, but haven't given support to the team as per usual.

Can Sarri really say to himself that we would be any worse with Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi on the pitch ahead of Jorginho and Pedro? They have both been very poor, It's becoming a bit of a joke that he  refuses to give these two a run in the team.

Worry for us in second half. We look to vulnerable when we lose the ball.

Such a predictable boring team with Jorginho and Kovacic on the pitch. You can do much better than that, Mauri!

Good performance from both teams' posts so far, We looked good at the start but their shape change has stopped our momentum, half time was needed to regroup

In our defence some of the players are likely fatigued from the cup game. We did play pretty decent for the first 30 mins+ and then given too many balls away with sloppy passing. 

Really disappointing first half from us, this doesn’t look like a great spurs performance so far but we’ve been even worse than they have. We’ve needlessly given the ball away time and time again. As usual, Alonso has managed to negate just about all of our threat down the left by slowing the game to walking pace. If it continues like this, Spurs will win. Kovacic and Pedro for RLC (probably Barkley) and CHO (probably Willian).

Pedro has been terrible this season, looks totally shot as a top player now. He’s lost his speed and he was always a clumsy footballer who’s speed made up for it. Why he persists with him I’ll never know, must be because of reputation and work rate because the quality isn’t there anymore eanymore

Both are needed, we need someone to be more direct and have some pace.

I don't think it's a case of him not wanting to play Ruben. Ruben has not long come back from injury, so it's likely a case of easing him back. If he's rushed back and gets injured we're f**ked in midfield because we are a midfielder short. Should't have sold Fabregas. Hudson-Odoi, I agree, he should get mins in the second half and come on for 20-30 mins. 

Spurs often score late, hopefully Sarri makes changes otherwise it looks grim with our likely fatigue growing in the 2nd half.

The problem is that we always look like this, so I can't blame fatigue. 

Half time couldnt come quick enough then. Started well and had chances but giving silly balls away in dangerous places gave them confidence and put us on the back foot.

Somebody said Spurs have been losing games in the last 30. I just hope kante and hazard arent burnt out after the weekend and we make the right changes.

As per usual recently we seem to have forgotten where the goal is. This is out 7th league game in 2019 and we only scored in 2 of them so far (Huddersfield and Newcastle). No wonder we are struggling.

Surprised how we've looked 'okay' whilst witnessing so many poor individual performances. This squad is just so mediocre.

And how we've managed to become so bad up front is incredible. We are absolutely toothless and then some.

My dad keeps saying we've played some nice football. But I have to ask, to what end? Accidentally hitting a post when aiming for the opposite side of the goal and two comedy efforts from Kovacic and Kante.

Thank goodness Spurs look a bit underwhelming too.

Loftus-Cheek has been back for a while now. Let's be real here, he would never have started a big game against Tottenham even if he was 100% fit. 

Was at a work lunch and missed the first 40 minutes, but will be streaming the 2nd half at work....... is it even worth watching the first 40 on the PVR when I get home?

Bring in RLC for Jorginho and move Kova to Jorg's position. Bring on CHO for Pedro. Win the game with 2 goal margin. End.
